Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
CD24 (28) for me. 10 DPO. Am going to test on Monday 14th if AF hasn't arrived...a nice valentine pressie eh?!Well last week I was having all sorts of cramping & twinges, which I've not really had or noticed before. Got really emotional at the w/e too. Now I'm feeling fine, back to normal. Certainly don't feel preggers although would be way too early anyhow!! Why are the 2WW so long???I'm hopeful cos this is the first month I've really monitored cm etc etc & we BD'd alot & certainly either side & actually on ov day itself!! So fingers crossed!!QQ – have you tested yet?

CD 1 today - no big surprise though, couldn't resist the urge to test yesterday as was a day late and got a BFN. DH away when I'm OVing this month so not looking likely.
Keeping my fingers crossed that AF doesnt get you QQ! xxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Huge hugs Katenut
I'm sorry you won't be with your DH when you ov next:o
It's a pity we need a man to make a baby, I think it would've been a lot more efficient if we could make babies on our own:cool:0 -
Morning ladies
This month started so well didn't it? Congrats to all the BFPs. And welcome to the newbies, good luck!
So my lap is tomorrow. Not many people know I'm having it done but those that do keep asking if I'm nervous - it feels weird that I'm not at all. The only thing I'm really worried about is phoning up tomorrow and them telling me they don't have a bed for me. If that happens we'll have wasted a month where we weren't TTC and also I've managed, with some difficulty, to sort out my work to get a week off and if I don't need it anymore I will be very annoyed! Obviously it will also be annoying because we won't be any closer to finding out what is wrong.
We have a bath and shower, and I knew the bath wasn't full size but didn't realise until we moved in just how small the bath is. I'm tall and even to sit in it I have to have my knees up around my b o o b s, and fitting 2 people in there is absolutely impossible. I am already planning how we can extend the house to fit in a proper sized bath (plus maybe another bedroom to accommodate all the kids that I AM going to have one day).
QQ - I'm so hoping that the IUI was successful for you.
And Phunkles - hope the head is better now and you have fun with your gorge man!
Katenut - that's annoying but hopefully you can make up for it next month0 -
Morning ladies!
Cara79 fingers crossed!
phunkles my DH refuses to watch OBEM :rotfl: Love your eyebrow story! Hope your head is better today x
katenut hugs hun
I love baths and have them every other day. I don't tend to have showers but I do have the shower head in the bath with me to wash my hairDH has baths a lot too... Maybe I should start banning him from baths?!?
I had a 'men are irritating me' day yesterday and considering I work in a male orientated environment, I was not impressed. I spent all day (and night) finishing/sorting things out. Why is it men only do half a job and then want a medal for it?!? Not speaking to DH this morning and it seems like he's decided to have a day off work
Light AF has dissapeared this morning. Expecting a 'proper' AF on Thursday 17th Feb (if my previous cycles are anything to go by). Roll on next ov...............................

Congrats to all the BFP's.
Well I managed to fit BDing in everyother day whilst OVing. Fingers crossed and am trying really hard not to SS!!
Does any one else have an underactive thyroid? I am on meds for it but know that it can slow the old ttc down. Wondered if anyone had any advice on it?
Bought a book the other day (shocking I know) "Natural solutions to infertility" makes for interesting reading. It gives lists and lists of vitamins and minerals to take to assist with ttc.
I am already taking most of them to try and level out my thyroid anyway so fingers crossed we got it right this month! (DH has volunteered to take the vits reccomended by the book for blokes too, he's quietly keen lol)You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -

I don't think I have underactive thyroid though. Good that you are on meds for that:cool:
Which vitamins & minerals do you take?0 -
Morning everyone.
Just a quick update on my OPK's - did a test this morning and it is negative, so 2 days of a faint line then nothing. So maybe it was over the past 2 days I OV'd.. or not at all?
I am not sure whether an OPK would indicate not ovulating as it just detects a hormone surge? Or do the 2 HAVE to go together?
I know someone else mentioned the other day they only got a faint line too."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0
