  • CD23 (25 day cycle last time) and I've had this ridiculously strong metallic taste in my mouth for the last couple of days. So I did a naughty slightly early test. It was positive.

I am cautiously delighted :o Will lurk for a bit if you don't mind xxxx

Good luck with the IUI QQ, we'll all be rooting for you xxx

    When's your birthday?:)

Not until May. So we have 3 cycles of trying very hard between now and then - hopefully it's feasible.

    Morning everyone,

Good luck today QQ and congratulations portsmouthali!!

Day 28 (26) and I have discovered I have no will power at all! I tested last night with a Clearblue Plus and got a BFN. There was a very, very, very feint partial line to make it a plus sign, but it was definitely a squint your eyes and tilt to the light to see it, so I don't think it means much.

Would be nice for the witch to show so I can move on!

    Happy Thursday everyone!

Happy Thursday to you too! I would also give it another couple of days then try again.

Smash - hope everything works out. If you're the only person who does your job I'm sure it will all be fine.

I think I'll wait until Saturday and if AF hasn't shown before then, I'll get some Superdrug tests and see what they show. Last year I did have one 28 day cycle, so I guess it could be just a long one. I don't have that feeling it's about to come or any cramps any more though.

I'm not too hopeful though; I've just been having a Google about the Clearblue Plus and I think they can give dodgy results. I think I bought them because they were on offer LOL!

I don't normally mind the 2ww but it's these few days around AF that I hate!

Ooh Derby sounds like a TLP to me! Fingers crossed.
Good luck for the IUI QQ

I'm using the CB digis this month, not very mse but I just can't read the cheapy ones properly. Not had my smiley face yet but wanted to ask a Q:
The cheapy opks I had say def not to use first morning pee as the LH won't show up until later in the day so I tested after work.
However the CB digis say you can test anytime and most women find it convenient to test first thing so I've been doing it as soon as I wake (after I've taken my temp!). Now I'm just confused as to if this is right or not. Anyone else tried them?

I'm on CD14 (30) so expecting my smilie face tomorrow or sat. Been BDing every other day this week anyway, keeping our pma up!

Congratulations to the BFPs - hopefully see you over on the less than 12 weeks thread.

Also a MASSIVE GOOD LUCK to QQ. I'll be thinking of you and watching with interest over the next couple of weeks.

The CB digis are cheaper on amazon, Ive just bought pack of 2 for £7.50 (not even late yet,lol but didnt want to have to wait for delivery so thought Id stock them :o)
When I did mine last year I was about 10 days late and did it in the afternoon, both times, so didnt make any difference as to morning or not. Oh and when I got pregnant with DD I know I did those first thing as really didnt want to get it wrong, all times I got BFP.

CBFM also says first thing. So I do CBFM in the morning and cheapy ICs in the evening:p

What usually happens is, CBFM starts to show High for few days, then IC gives a positive in the evening followed by CBFM Peak next morning.

So LH does shoot up in the evening:cool:

i am wondering whether to buy some opk's - never used them before but i am curious.

i am due to ov in the next few days if my cycles are normal and would like to know that i am ov'ing ready for trying next month. what put's me off is - what if they don't show anything and i start stressing and getting worried.

is it best to know or not know??

last time i got pg i didn't do anything like opks or temping it just happened.

    what do you think?
