I had my follicle scan yesterday, and was given the go ahead for IUI (my second):j
I'll be getting a painful hcg injection tomorrow - ehm, in my backside:o It is to trigger ovulation. Since I'm not married to a doctor, I need to ovulate on his schedule;)

IUI is on Saturday:j

DH decided to save his swimmers for the big day, so we haven't BD'd at all this year:shocked:
I suppose these days one doesn't need to BD in order to have a baby....:p

Hi there, another newbie, although i've been lurking for a few weeks. My partner and I decided to TTC our first last month. I've been on the pill for about 10 years, and on cerazette for a couple of years, and (sorry if TMI coming up) haven't had a period for months, although I have sometimes got a little bleeding, but not heavy enough to need use any sanitary products IYKWIM. Well I took my last pill on 24th Dec, and was already had that kind of bleeding. It got heavy enough to need to use towels etc. on 26th and lasted until the 31st. So i've been counting 26th as CD1. Because of being on the pill I have no idea how long my cycle might be.

Wanted to leave it a few months before charting or anything like that, but have been checking cm, to try and detect ovulation, plus dtd as much as poss! Think I may of oved around the 15th, as had what seemed like EWCM, and DTD a few times around then. As 28 days seems fairly average, ended up doing a test sunday (which works out as cd29), but got BFN. Still no AF though

Just want AF to hurry up and arrive now so I can start again, feel like I'm stuck in limbo. There's still a glimmer of hope as, from what i've been reading, if I did ov around the 15th, that would make it next weekend that AF would be due, so maybe my cycle is more like 35 days, which would make it too early to have tested. However, I think it's more likely that I'm not pregnant. Now I'm stressing that my cycles are just messed up and the bleeding at Christmas wasn't a proper period. Been reading that it can take up to three months to start having proper periods after being on the pill. Really don't want to have to wait that long to start ttc properly :eek:

Hi to all the newbies! Hope your stay is short!!
Betty - don't stress too much hun! Everyone is different and how our body's react to the pill, etc is different so I would go with the flow (ahem, excuse the pun ) until AF starts and then start keeping a TTC diary. Stressing is bad for TTC so, chill out and don't be afraid to ask any questions! We're all in this together!

We got any testers soon...? QQ can you add me to the testing list for 5 Feb please?

Hubby's bday today and he said all he wants is a BFP
