    on the cost of weddings:

i reckon £10k for the usual standard wedding (church, hotel, day meal for 80 guest and evening buffet/disco for 150 guests), probably £20k for the all singing all dancing job. my friends spent about £30k but they had loads of guests all day and very expensive flowers, photos, honeymoon.

i got married abroad but still managed to get through about £10k lol - was supposed to be a cheap way to do it! i did get a three week holiday/wedding/honeymoon out of it though.

if i was getting married in uk i would have a late wedding and just have the evening party - cutting out the day time meal would probably save about £5k depending on guest numbers.

it's amazing how the figures add up though once you start budgeting.

Can I ask is there any signs to say that you ov'd. We are trying this month for number 2 and I know that its usually middle of your cycle where the window is to get pregnant. Anyway we will ust have to practice this week and next and fingers crossed. I fell quickly the last time but hubbie was not aware he was trying as he would get stressed out - this time he knows.

    Hi ladies,

Phunkles your time with oh sounds lovely, he sounds like a bit of a star. As smash said, best things come in 3s. Fingers crossed.

I skyplussed big fat gypsy wedding, blimey, that dress. I really want to know how much it cost though. Not sure I'd like my child dancing like them 6 year olds mind you.

Well, zumba. Apparently you burn 500 calories, not entirely sure about that, though I was bright red when i left. Teacher was a right mental, lots of whooping, clapping and cheering. I managed to refrain myself. It was a mixture of bollywood, salsa and aerobics. But, i think I'll carry on for a while, well until I get my BFP anyway :)

    Xx

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

I do have a really small question though - if you get a positive on an opk how long is there realistically a window of opportunity???

oh has been like a duracell bunny this week..... kind of eventful will update properly later
One ov's around 12-36hrs after the 1st positive opk.
Egg lives for about 12-24hrs, so you have couple of days.

    Go Go durecell bunny!

If someone had told me that in a year's time I'd be looking at my 12 day old baby boy, I don't think I would ever have believed them.
    Congrats MV:o

This month I got a positive opk on Thursday night/early hours of Friday morning…. A fair bit of ewcm and had lower stomach cramps on Friday evening…. So I haven’t a clue maybe we missed it maybe we caught it I honestly don’t know….
Have sore boobs/nipples and am very tired but that could just of been the week Ive had to be honest….
Sounds like you ov'd sometime on Friday night - Saturday.
Fingers crossed magic is happening right now:)

Ewcm is usually the sign. It starts out creamy, then becomes more runny like raw egg white (or snot:p). That's the most fertile cm, so BD then for the best chance. When it dries up, it's over.
    Good luck:j
