im feeling really positive at the moment that i will be preggers this month or next and ive just booked tickets for a show in nov thinking that if it BFP this month i will be due to drop and if its next month then ive got something to look forward too after the birth - how stupid do i sound eh but thats what im thinking
i watched the catch up of one born every minute - that program always makes me cry and i hope its not as bad as that women made out but i suppose its just how people handle pain0 -
Right I'm done moping and feeling sorry for myself, had teary eyes at lunchtime when seeing babies everywhere but have pulled myself together. OH thinks I'm a nutjob and doesn't want a women obsessed with babymaking so I will chill out now.
On the brightside of things, today being CD 1 and a Friday means I [STRIKE]can[/STRIKE] should have a glass of wine!:j
Thanks guys, I think I just needed to tell someone my frustration and you're the only ones I can talk to about it!!!:dance:0 -
its easier said then done tho isnt Gizmogiz - i took the 'relaxed' approach for the first probably 5/6 months altho its still in the back of your mind - my OH is exactly the same he just says it will happen when it happens
just a quick question - has anyone decorated a room or made a nursery? i need to decorate the spare bedroom which will be hopefully fingers crossed the babys room although its a shell at the moment i want to get paper/paint and carpet curtains etc but i dont know what colour to go for not like a babys room but make it neutral so i can add to it0 -

We've painted the spare room yellow and put up a black out blind. On one wall is a giant (the whole wall) sunflower. I have some bright primary coloured patterned curtains up. Without the curtains it looks like a nice grown up spare room. It is the nursery but I try not to think about it too much!0 -

We moved into our first house in May and we know the little room will be the nursery but don't want everyone else knowing that yet so we just painted it Magnolia and have put the same latte carpet throughout the whole of the upstairs. When baby comes along we will prob just add a border & some stickers/pictures.:dance:0 -

We put off decorating our "nursery" for months because we knew it would eventually become the nursery. But in the end in about Sept/Oct last year we agreed it couldn't wait any longer. We just painted it a nice neutral cream. It still has a blue carpet and blue curtains (the carpet was already down and my Mum gave us the curtains when she moved house) but these things can be easily changed if necessary (which it now looks like it will be). I would say just go neutral and you can always add stuff as necessary. Anyway, the way I see it, the baby will be in our room to sleep initially so there is a bit of time to get stuff after baby is here.
