AF finally arrived this morning after a 36 day cycle
    Hugs for AF arriving

Let's hope that was the last AF for this year:)

Can I just clarify whether I'm getting my CDs right? If AF was due yesterday that would make Friday CD28 right? As it's the last day of my cycle and assumes Saturday is CD1 of the next cycle. So today is actually CD30(28) - have I got it right?
The day of full flow AF is CD1, if you have 28 day cycle, then the AF due date is CD29.
Hope your AF won'c come anytime this year:D

I was getting all nostalgic yesterday and had a read back and it was sooo much fun finding out with the gals on here. Had to take a photo again of the QQ posting with the BFP as I can't remember where I put it on my computer.
I still remember the day you got your BFP, with your hands getting wet and all:o
Did another IC this morning and there is still something there but couldn't really call it a line. Maybe I've just been unlucky with evap lines.
I'm going to buy some proper tests this afternoon but might not use them til Tuesday morning.
I don't want to be too dissapointed if AF turns out so might try the relaxed approach for tomorrow!!
What does your line look like? ICs only ever give you super faint lines...

Hi all Does anyone know the best online ovulation calendar as they all seem to give slightly different times.
Anyway I have been ttc for over 12 months and started to worry as turning 38 this year 'tic tic' so have just bought a cbfm to use with next cylce.

I have a 19 yo son so wanting to have another now I must be mad lol

Also any tips with the cbfm would be grateful :)
Online ov predictor is not good. You need to use other methods like CBFM, opks and/BBT thermometer.
I use all three:p I also check cm.

How are your cycles? Are they regular?
You can start CBFM from anytime until CD5. Don't forget to buy the batteries and the test sticks (Amazon is cheap).

Also, once you get a Peak, then don't feed anymore sticks as the machine will not read them, and give you another Peak, High then low automatically.

    Good luck:)

I don't like to symptom-spot, but I am absolutely shattered the past few days, really achey and lethargic. Also, I've been getting little crampy feelings in my tummy and feeling quite light-headed. All of which could be put down to stress at work, working too hard at the gym, imminent period, or simply coming off the pill. Doesn't stop me wondering though....!
Fingers crossed it's your beany at work:)
  • My friend told me today that she's pregnant again (she has a 2 year old boy, and her daughter is a year old next week) Although I wouldn't swap places with her (3 kids under 4? No thanks!!) it still felt like a punch in the face :( What surprised me more though was OH's reaction. He's not one to show his feelings but he looked genuinely gutted, and when we were alone he said "Why them & not us?" I told him it will be our turn again this year and we both cheered up :)

Sorry for the moan, just wanted to vent xxx

A friend of mine told me her and her OH had decided to try for a baby and 2 weeks later she told me she was pregnant!

It just seems so unfair sometimes, sometimes its hard to share her happiness.

DH gets upset with me because I spend hours looking for gifts for her baby....when in reality most of the time I'm just looking for things that we'll need to buy one day :(

Anyone else wander around shops looking at the tiny little outfits and wishing they could take them home?

Well, I tried a test yesterday, it was a BFN and AF arrived today. Realistically I hadn't really expected anything different so we are all geared up for trying again this month. My cycle seems quite hit and miss so it's a guess of trying to work out the dates, it's all so new to us so we are just going along with things and not worrying at this very early stage :)

My friend at work who I sit next to is also pregnant. Came off the pill in August, got BFP in September. I am genuinely pleased for her & her husband as they are lovely people, but as you say, it's hard...

    Our time will come xxx

I've just heard Victoria Beckham is pregnant too! Sweet Jesus! ;)

Big congrats to all the BFPs this month.

DH and I have had a really good chat today about stuff going off with our families, and finally I feel like we can do what we want in our lives without worry about everyone else...this had made me feel so much more relaxed and positive for this month....fingers crossed;) infact, when I mentioned about having a hol in America and asking which he'd prefer he said America with a baby!!
I do have a question though about the best time to BD - once I have a positive from opk, should we BD that night, or the next?
