Hi ladies, do you mind if I join you? I might take a while to get up to speed with all the abbreviations though! I've had a quick read and think I'm getting the hang of it.

I've been with my DH for 3 1/2 years and we got married last April. We've been TTC for what seems like as long as I can remember, but not putting enough effort in at the right times if you know what I mean! So we've decided to start taking it a bit more seriously now. My cycle is nearly always 28 days (to the hour the last few months!), I think I'm on CD23/24 and judging by my mood yesterday its very unlikely I'm pg (poor DH, he has really suffered the brunt of it!).

Right, I'm going to do a bit more reading then an early night - given up all my favourite things in a bid to loose a few pounds so an early night will keep me away from the wine and chocolate! :) xx

    Thanks for the welcomes!

OK well as I said before I'm not doing the whole temping etc thing, just going to see how it goes for a few months. This is my first cycle since coming off the mini-pill on 26th December, so not really sure what to expect just yet. I think I MAY have ovulated over the weekend (based on CM only, eww!) but my stupid DH got really drunk on sunday night and therefore has been in no fit state to DTD....! I think I'm going to have to jump him tonight, but may have missed the boat this month. (not really sure about how long either side of ovulation that it's likely to happen? Need that pregnancy book to arrive soon so I can swot up!)

    Morning ladies

Sorry to Ali for AF - hope you enjoyed that glass of wine last night.

Welcome to the newbies - sorry, there have been so many of you in the last week I can't remember you all by name, but a big hello to you all!!

x_charlie_x - that is a really long cycle - is it normal for you?

BB1984 - I think the window is 4 days prior to Ov and 1 day after. The sperm can survive longer than the egg.

katenut - I'm with you on the no chocolate and wine pledge. Well, I was until DH opned a huge tin of Celebrations last night and I forgot all about giving up chocolate until it was too late......... :o

smash7 - everything is crossed for you! Good luck

Can't remember who was talking about booking holidays. DH and I have 3 booked for next year - 3 day break to Copenhagen in Feb, 5 day cottage break in Wales in March and a 7 day holiday to Montenegro in October. We figure we'd rather have them to look forward to if nothing happens, rather than twiddling our thumbs, thinking about what could have been. If I get pg, we'll still go on the first two, and will cancel the 3rd if I get pg before April. If not, I'll be going with a bump!! Life must go on. :D

CD27(26-29) here. 13dpo. Still bloated, achy lower back, creamy CM (but not loads) and still have gas. Bleurgh. One new thing is a restless leg thing at night - I don't even know I'm asleep but my whole body jolts and scares the bejezzies out of me and DH. Had it the past 2 nights........ Dunno.

DH keeps asking when I can test (haven't told him about the BFN on Monday). Bless him, he's broody. :D

    xDx
