Trying for a Baby Part Six

How is everyone? Loads of people seem to be getting really bad colds and such so I hope you're all staying healthy. I'm also now day 32 of a 28 day cycle and still no sign of AF at all. No signs of anything else at all - apart from I am being a !!!!! to my DH (which is definitely not a sign of AF for me). I did a test this morning and a BFN. I obviously hope it was wrong but I think it's just going to be a month where AF comes late or not at all, probably due to me being ill earlier on :-(0

Where is everyone? Not stuck in the snow I hope. I know loads of people with cold, cough or flu and am tryig to stay away. I feel totally exhausted and run down but thinks that's mainly to do with it being the end of the year (a long time since last holiday) and working so hard the past couple of months which culminates in a big deadline this week. I just can't wait to have a break at Christmas.0

Evening ladies,
CD1 today, started spotting last night and AF reared her ugly head this morning!!! I guess in this weather it was just a frozen egg!!! LOL!!!! If I don't laugh I seriously will cry!!! Every month that passes convinces me more that it's me that has the problem!!!
My weight will be my priority in the new year, no point trying yet with all the crimbo sweeties flying around but DH and I have agreed we will be very strict with each other this time!!!
On another note those of you ladies that are having tests done or had them to check fertility could you tell me some more a out them like what you have had done as I'm thinking that might visit the doctor in the new year also!!! Thanks in advance!!!:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

Hi Everyone
Well I'm on CD7 today. My predicted OV day is CD22. I'm quite gutted that its so far away as I'm so impatient. Even more frustrating is that me cycle is 36 days!!! DH thinks its funny to ask "Are you Pregnant yet?" most days too, lol!!
Anyway, how is everyone coping with the snow??

Well, I've finally bitten the bullet - after weeks (well months) of lurking, I've decided to post - I suppose this means I'm officially ttc? eek!
A bit of history - I'm 29 (30 far too soon!), married for 5 yrs, together for 12. Came off the pill about a year ago, stopped using condoms about 3 months ago. Not really taken much notice of cycle days, length etc, just left it to chance -thought I ougt to now! Totally lost to be honest. I'm on CD16 but have varying lengths (32, 33, 32, 29, 25, 27), used an ov test (£2.80 for 5 from Wilkos) last few days, all showing negative - maybe left it a bit late for this month?
Well, thats me. Hi to everyone - you all seem very friendly!!!0 -
Morning ladies
welcome countrybum :hello: - I reckon you still have time for OV this month..... keep on trying!
debsmc - sorry for CD1.
No BDing last night, DH was in a right old mood - no idea why. He kept getting annoyed when I coughed!! It's an involuntary action, muppet-head!
Bah. Hopefully he's in a better mood tonight. CD12(29).
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
So AF did arrive late - CD1 today for me. Which is obviously disappointing but now has me even more confused as to what is going wrong. I always thought I ovulated at around day 14 (used to get pains etc around then) in a 28 day cycle. Then I ovulated at day 18 this month and my LP was 14 days. I had kind of convinced myself that the problem I was having was a LP that was too short and now maybe that's not the case. So I just keep worrying about what is wrong. DH just keeps saying the Dr will find that out but I'm too impatient!
Welcome countrybum - hope you won't be here longdeborahmcgeachy wrote: »Evening ladies,

Sorry AF arrived, at least you can start trying again this month. Lots of people take quite a few months to conceive so try not to worry just yet.
Right, when we first went to the Dr he arranged a blood test for me to check I was ovulating. He also arranged for 2 lots of sperm analysis for DH (one initial one to check numbers, motility etc and then a more specific one to check the movement against gravity or something like that). We then had a short appointment with a specialist at the hospital to discuss things which seemed pretty pointless to me.
I then had an ultrasound at the hospital to check there was nothing obviously wrong with me. All that came back ok so I am now on the waiting list for a laparoscopy which should be done Jan/Feb apparently. They have done no other tests yet.0 -
((hugs)) to all those that the witch has decided to visit.
Welcome Countrybum, hope your visit is short (in a nice way of course)
Lol to muppet head Debs, these men are funny creatures arent they!
Well, Im still bleeding, which is just CARP. I want AF to come so we can get back on the wagon

Hey guys,
Thanks for all your welcomes.
I was really nervous yesterday because I had to go to the hospital for a colposcopy due to occasional bleeding after s e x.
The doctor was really nice and said that for a woman of my age (28) this is not unusual because taking the pill for a long time makes the cervix fragile (did any of you guys know this!!???). He took a biopsy and I'll get the results in two weeks but the best news was .....
He said that we can press ahead with our baby making plans!! Hurrah!
So... 4 more days of the pill and then a withdrawl bleed and then BDing like crazy.
Because I will not have had 2 AFs to use as reference I have no idea how long my cycle will be and therefore no idea when I might Ov? I was thinking of BDing every day from CD 6 - 14 (!) What do you guys think? I think it'll be knackering.
Lots of love

Welcome to the newbies
((hugs)) for those the witch got
Let me just check.......................................CD11(28) for me. To be honest I've not really thought about it much this month. I have to check my diary to see what CD I am on. Am not due to ov until 27th Dec if the last two cycles of ov'ing on CD17 are correct.
Hope we get some more December BFPs!!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0
