  • JCR i think as long as your taking folic acid its ok i take the tesco pregnancy vit but just coz it was easier than multi vit and folic acid its much cheaper than the 'brand name' preg vits.

i was looking yesterday at vitmans to take while being preg. i am still taking folic acid. but saw in morrisons one specially for pregnant ladies. anyway reading what was in it, would a multi vit do the same ?
Pregnancy multi-vitamins have either less or no vitamin A in them compared to regular ones as too much vitamin A is supposed to be harmful.

hi hope your feeling ok and sorry for your loss. i mc last month and we were told to wait 1 month for dating purposes only, no medical reason. as you can see im not that patient :rotfl:. i was also told you are more fertile after mc which for us turned out to be true. i ovd 19 days after start of mc which is my normal ov date but not sure if everyones the same it might depend how far you were mine was very early.
good luck and lots of sticky baby dust :)

Thanks MSFC. To be honest I think I am ok. All thought still feels like it happended to someone else. Ive also heard you are more fertile after, so maybe once I have convinced OH it is ok to come near me, we could maybe get started. Im guessing OV will be about 3 weeks so early January. thank you!

I sometimes feel like I imagined the whole pregnancy.

It's great to see so many BFP well done ladies.

Well, I have now stopped bleeding after mc and am waiting for af to arrive. Anyone know how long I can expect to wait. We are keen to start ttc again. Epu advise to wait one cycle does anyone know if this is for medical reasons? Thanks for any help ladies. Kx

    Hi Kelly

I had a mc and was also told to wait a cycle, but I knew that many people say you're more fertile just after a mc, and also that it is only so they can date the pregnancy easily, so we just went for it.

We only DTD twice, and two weeks after the mc bleeding stopped (I bled for 3 weeks, lost baby at about 7 weeks) I was pregnant with what is now my 16mo DD.

If you feel ready to try, then go for it. I did find that BDing helped me and OH reconnect after the ordeal of the mc, too.

I get so confused when threads get merged and we aren't warned. I wonder if I'm going crazy as I keep thinking - I'm sure I haven't read that post yet.... :rotfl:

Snap! I kept trying to work out where I had read up to but just got more confused. Sorry about AF and your short cycle. I won't be testing on Christmas eve now either as this cycle is turning out to be a long one. The rate I'm going we could end up with 2 if your cycles to my one!

hey ladies - congrats on all the bfps woop!!!! nice for the festive season!!!

well i tried out the preseed and loved it!!!! as did hubby. so we dtd on days 12,13,14,16,17,18!!! so im hopeful. Last time i got my period it was two weeks after ov which is tomorrow so fingers crossed. However if im not pregnant i would like my period asap as im going to my in laws for xmas!!!

on the positive side i have been discharged from hospital care for my thyroid which finally seems to have learnt to behave myself. Been told that this should now mean everything returns to normal, and my last period was very normal, it was heavy and extremely painful like they were before i went on the pill - which i came off June 2009 and apparently thats when my thyroid kicked in! plus they are arriving between 28 and 25 days so hopefully this will make life so much easier. so im looking forward to 2011 after a fairly black year :D
