    Hi Kelly

I had a mc and was also told to wait a cycle, but I knew that many people say you're more fertile just after a mc, and also that it is only so they can date the pregnancy easily, so we just went for it.

We only DTD twice, and two weeks after the mc bleeding stopped (I bled for 3 weeks, lost baby at about 7 weeks) I was pregnant with what is now my 16mo DD.

If you feel ready to try, then go for it. I did find that BDing helped me and OH reconnect after the ordeal of the mc, too.

Thanks Skint, your story is encouraging. Ive bled for about 2.5 weeks and lost baby about 11 weeks.

I think id like to get started again soon, but its like my OH is a bit scared to start Bding again, as he thinks hell break me. He thinks we should wait awhile till im all better. Ta! x

    Good evening ladies!

twi1ight - the best way to keep up with what posts you have read is by clicking on the 'thanks' button as you read each post. If the thanks button has dissapeared (ie: you've already said thanks) then, you've already read it! ;) Sorry to hear your cycle is going to be a long one. Is that cause you haven't ov'd yet?
jules - It's about two weeks after ov, that's why they call it the two week wait ;)

I wish I could say something constructive to your girls that have had MCs but, I'm like twi1ight in that I've never been pg so I can't imagine how it would feel to have that taken away. ((Hugs)) to all of you, that's what this thread is about - being able to support each other and realise that you're not alone xx

Nothing to report from me, still waiting for AF to go but it's never very long with me so should be making an exit tomorrow.

Someone mentioned PMT/PMS - I have terrible PMS for the day before I start AF. I hate ALL men for a day - they irritate the heck out of me! The only problem is, I don't realise until the next day when AF starts and by then, I've been a b!tch to every man I come into contact with  (That's a lot in a male dominated industry!) I have been known to be pretty mean/rude... :o

Really hope we don't get snow tonight....! Need to go to work tomorrow and all next week so, please Mr Snow - p!ss off :rotfl:until at least Xmas day! Oh, and no ice either!

Maybe if you initiate things he will just respond? Sometimes we can overthink this stuff you know? In theory it freask him out, but it might be different in practice.

I still have no AF, still no pre-AF symptoms, and am now weeing loads (but have a cold and often do wee lots when ill), so am not sure. OH commented today that he thought I'd be on my now, but I haven;t told him I already tested. trying to wait till the weekend ideally, but not sure how much longer I can last before POAS again.

Oh how I wish .... You jammy dodger!! At the very least I have PMT at least 7 days before AF, sometimes from ov, so approx 14 days. Every month is different, and some months I really worry for my sanity :eek::eek: Isn't it wierd how everyone is different??

Cd1 of longer than usual 34 day cycle.

Anyone explain opks to me? Do I ov when it's positive or after?

Also, really want to ov earlier this cycle, anything to help that?

Questions questions! But I find only way to heal disappointment of Af is to plan next cycle!

Sorry about AF maire. No idea about opks but know what you mean about planning. They're on my list to try next month if I'm not successful this time.

    Good morning ladies

Maire1 - sorry about AF. :( No idea about opks as I don't use them. Someone will be able to help though.

skintchick - oooohhh fingers crossed.... :)

euronorris - hoping AF didn't show up last night

kellyg - my DH felt like that just afterwards - he didn't want to start TTC again until mid next year!! But, as he's seen me get stronger, he's up for it!! Give it time. ;)

CD8(29) for me. Planning to let the Bding commence at the weekend, on and off for a week - should just about cover it! Xmas party at work today - can't wait. Champers in the boardroom from 11:30am and then for the carnage.......... :D:D:p

    xDx

She didn't.....she showed up this morning right after I got to work! Can't say I'm surprised but I am a little disappointed.

I'd love to come off the pill and start trying now, but at the same time, I don't want this debt hanging round my neck with a baby on the way. I shall just have to be patient me thinks.

Started snowing here yesterday afternoon, then stopped, then started again very early this morning. Managed to get into work, not so sure about getting home as it is still snowing and they have predicted 25cms today! Imagine my delight!

At least it's Friday! A weekend of R&R is on the cards! :D

Hope you all safe and warm. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for all those who are yet to test! SBDTA!

Oh yes, and CD 1 (28) for me. Might be good for me to become better acquainted with my cycle, even if I am on the pill.

  • Have fun at the party ddebski. Make the most of it because with any luck you won't be there next year!

Good news for me because my temp is up again so FF put ovulation at cd25 so I'm 3dpo now. I was getting a bit anxious about it all as have had very irregular cycles in the past (anything from 17 to 45 days). Have been dtd every day or every other day for past 2 weeks (damn late ov!) including cd 23, 24, 25 & 26. So, if everything is working properly then we have a good chance this month. If no AF then I'll test on 28th (QQ can you update me on the testing list?) Keeping my fingers crossed and wishing I'll be another December bfp.
