Oh, she also said that a friend of hers, with PCOS, had a 'little key hole surgery like XXXX did if the cysts are still there. Without being graphic I think they flush your tubes or something.'

Just wondered if they mentioned that to you as an option too?

Basically when i spoke to my doctor after my scan she just said we'll put you on metformin to hopefully help, thats it, no other treatment plans, no coming back to see how i'm getting on nothing. i asked how long the metformin takes to work and she said 6-9 months, to be honest she was less than interested. In April when we have been trying a year i will probably go back then although no idea if they'll care as I already have a child.

I'd expect if you have to pay for healthcare over there it should be up to a much higher standard than the rotten NHS, you have nothing to lose if you speak to your doctor about it, they might be quite helpfull and give you some medication that actually works.

Pawpurs first positive OPK means you'll ovulate 12-36 hours after that so i'd say your still in with a chance :)

Sorry to hear that GG. Maybe it's worth gathering some info on available treatments and going back and asking her about them. Do you think she just isn't interested generally, or because you already have one child?

So far, so good with the healthcare here. Although, I still find it odd that I can renew my pill by just calling and asking the pharmacy. Handy yes, but odd. I thought they needed to check your blood pressure etc every so often? Oh well. Think I'll make an appointment next week to check it out, or maybe on 7th as I have a day booked off (don't need to mention anything to work then either).

CD 23 for me, 7dpo. I stupdily thought it would be a good idea to test this morning, BFN of course! Good thing is it was my last IC so it will force me to just wait it out now :)

Can I ask you girls a question. The last 2 cycles for me have been spot on 27 days. Last month was the 1st month I had tracked my ovulation though, and it was on day 12/13. Then AF arrived on CD27, so a 14 days LP.

This month I ov'd on CD 15/16. So should I expect AF on CD 27 as usual, or count to allow a LP of 14 days, so CD 30?

Does your LP change each month?
    Testing at 7DPO cycle buddy?:naughty:
    I'm waiting until 15DPO:cool:

LP doesn't change much from cycle to cycle:)

god i got worried there as i didnt know what that was!

but looked it up and nothing to worry about
Sorry about that, when you first get pg, people sometimes have breakthrough bleeding on the days where AF was supposed to be due. It may happen again on the supposed next cycle as well, but absolutely nothing to worry about!

Don't worry, relax, and have a great pregnancy!:j
 Did a test and got a BFN

Maybe your cycle is back to normal at last, December BFP it is:beer:

Does anyone have PCOS? Or had an ultrasound before where the result was 'suggestive of PCOS'?

So, now I'm thinking, should I go to my doctor here and tell him about this now, in case they need to do any tests etc? Or just leave it until we are trying to conceive? It's been worrying me, but not really sure if I should be worried, IYKWIM?
    I have PCOS.

How regular are your cycles? If you ov OK, then people with PCOS get pg normally. But if your cycles are irregular, it's worth visiting your doc:) They may give your Clomid to make you ov (like me).

Ovarian drilling? Seems to work fine, but they tend to do it after trying other drugs.

I think it's only supposed to vary by up to three days but this is mine over twenty cycles:

Here's my luteal (not sure why I had 16 day luteal, perhaps I got the ov dates wrong):

You did say last cycle that according to the scans you ovulated on the first high temperature day so maybe you did that cycle too.
