Thanks QQ x I have bought some opks from asda until my other ones arrive so I will start testing, what time of day is best?
They say LH surges between 2-4pm, but one needs concentrated urine, so no drinking/wc for 3hrs before doing the opk.

Perhaps one in late afternoon, and one before going to bed might be practical. Some had better luck on their FMU (first morning urine). Good luck:)

I am thinking about Agnus Castus, or soy. My trend seems to be failed ovulation many times throughout my cycle. If only I could get that ov earlier I'd have a fighting chance, worried it may be a little early after BCP though! not sure...

still no signs of AF today so fingers crossed I'll get to 13DPO :)
Fingers crossed this is it for you:)
But if not, why not try both Agnus Castus & Soy?

For Soy Isoflavones you take about 100mg/night for 5 days starting CD3-7. I took 120mg/night though since the pills came in 40mg.

    How about something like this?http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=1
    There's 23mg/tab so take 5 which makes 115mg.

How are you all? Anyone up to anything exciting this eve?
DH wanted to BD last night but I said no, last time we BD'd was 13th Oct, 3 days before IUI:angry:

I thought AF was sneaking up on me on Thursday, but nothing more than the spotting I've had for the last few days (and even that's stopped now). I did get a terrible sharp pain for about 20 seconds earlier today in my upper back, although I'm sure that has nothing to do with TTC. I'm falling to bits! Must be age :undecided
Spotting? Could it have been implantation spotting? :)
Can't remember who was asking about the cbfm, but we're struggling to get along with ours too. I've been through 2 cycles, and not yet seen a peak, as I get to 20 sticks and it goes to low and then it stops asking for tests. It's not even flashing the m yet this cycle, so I don't think it knows what to do with me :rotfl:
Does the lines get darker/lighter or does it stay the same all the time?

Perhaps if there is a next time, you can set CD5(you) as CD1(CBFM) to gain few extra days (or just set it to CD1 when ever you feel like it). CBFM won't work if your cycle is more than 42 days.

CD 15 for me - still low on cbfm. Did an opk which had a faint control line and even fainter/barely there test line! I only have a couple of cbfm sticks left and can't really afford any more this week so will just carry on with the opks.
    Good luck:)

Good morning. Well I forgot about the clocks this morning, however I've got a fair bit to do today so yay for an extra hour.

QQ thanks for updating the lists and posting them. Did you turn DH down because you weren't in the mood or was it a timing thing?

I checked another opk this morn and it's still borderline positive. Is that right? Does it mean BDing for another 3 days??!

    Happy haloween!

    Morning girls,

I have been reading the thread over the last few days but only just got around to posting an update myself!

I am also up taking advantage of the extra hour, as I couldn't bloomin sleep, typical eh.

Sorry to all that the Witch got, I think I'll be joining you later this week. I think I'm about 11dpo and I have zero symptoms, feel totally normal. Even though I expected it this month, it still feels rubbish doesn't it!

I'm trying to think really positively though, it gives me a chance to get my bum in the gym a bit more over the next few weeks so I can feel really good when its time to BD like crazy again :)

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday. I am heading out to get some new wardrobes and bits for the house. Love a bit of retail therapy!

Sounds fun Feanor, retail therapy always helps! Off out shopping later too. Which day are you expecting AF? Do you normally get AF symptoms?

Having never done IVF, I've looked it up. It doesn't sound so bad, it'll take 2 month, with 1 month of injections every day thing, but egg retrieval is done on GA, and putting the egg back in is like IUI. A breeze:whistle: (Ask me again after I've done it:p).
Was out with my bestest friend last night and she had IVF, she said that one cycle was enough for her. Even though it hadn't worked she wouldn't do it again. Although I suppose the IUI is just the same as IVF.

No, this was my 4th Clomid cycle, but others were normal:huh:
Hope it doesn't stay that way:(
Fingers crossed, it was probably just coincidence on my part that it happened at the same time.

It's vitamins in general which make it yellow. So the tablets is probably it (unless you are eating lots of veggies as well:p).
That explains it then, the tablet and the veggies ;)

You have to get the pot out, and say to him lets try this together:D
Men are like babies, they want to be told what to do, and want us to help them do it:o I bet he's waiting for you to tell him, or wishing you have forgotten about it:p
I offered my services, but he wasn't keen :rotfl:I think you're right though he is either waiting for me to tell him to do it or hoping I've forgotten!

Morning ladies!! You wouldn't believe that just after I posted yesterday saying I had very little EWCM, I went to the loo and there was a load of it. I thought maybe I hadn't ovulated yet, but did an OPK yesterday afternoon and in was negative. How confusing

I don't BD on CD2:cool: He's going to have to wait until AF clears:p

It can stay positive for few days.
    OV is 12-36hrs after the 1st +opk:cool:

You are so going to ov soon:j

IUI and IVF is very different. IVF is about 10 times harder than IUI I'd guess.
My sister's friend has done 2 IVFs, and has a cutest little baby son:)

No not really, sometimes it really does just sneak up on me! Last three cycles have been 27/26/28 days so the average is 27 which means AF is due Thursday I think. Guess we'll just have to wait and see :)

    Hey mrsvicx,

Sorry you got a BFN again :(
Hopefully the doctor will shed some light on this. You are doing so well though, it must be a bit worrying to not know what on earth is going on. Let us know how it goes! Lots of luck.

Thanks Feanor, I'm hoping she/he (depending on who I get!!) will just give me something to bring it on. I've got a cbfm for next month and I'm desperate to use it!! Typical!!!
