That sounds like an awkward situation Lemon Tree. People shouldn't ask you about it unless you raise the subject. Your private life and fertility really are a personal matter and people should respect that.

I never really know what to do or say. I know people are thinking "when are you having kids" but they never say it to me. I suppose the pressure is off me a bit as we have nieces and nephews already so there's no huge rush to provide grandchildren. And as for telling people, at the moment I'd really rather not but if things take a while and it starts to become a bug thing for me then perhaps sharing with people close will help. Who knows. I'll cross that bridge later. I remember someone telling me they were going to start trying in January but that was a few years ago and nothing has happened. So now don't know if they changed their minds or if things didn't work.

LemonTree - she sounds just horrid :| I bet shell be your babies auntie who buys random crap gifts every Christmas and Birthday. I do think shes rather jealous though - From what Ive seen on here your a fabulous person with a solid gold centre :)

As it stands though on people giving opinions on the ttc thing apparently we would be mad to be ttc anytime soon given our situation (thats from his friends yeah thanks Nobblehead - just shows people dont know whats going on between closed doors - me and my oh arent happy living apart but at the moment its for the best financially - same friend also commented on how my oh doesnt go out as much anymore :| and then made out it was my fault erm no its not at all :( - oops turned into a bit of a rant there didnt it - ohs friend has been annoying me lately though with little digs :(
And on the other hand his parents have asked about tiny feet on numerous occassions - the current line we using is we probably dont want babies :(

Cleomolly - the leaflet I got with my opks says not to use fmu??? I generally do it when I remember to be honest which is normally between 4-11 :s

Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

I'm confused about opks too phunkles. I did one yesterday (no extra line) and today (extra faint line) and don't really know how to read the results. I do it mid-morning, not sure if it's the right time or not. As far as I'm aware a positive is if the test line is darker than the control line. I'm also using CBFM and today is low (CD13) My normal cycle is 28 days but has been a little longer since the mc. Last cycle I got my first high on CD13 - I'm puzzled!

  • Hello all,

Congrats SML on your BFP! :j xxxx

I'm on CD19 - been testing since CD10 and yesterdays' OPK was darker than it has been, todays darker still, but not as dark as the control line. I jumped on OH this morning just in case :D but still not sure. Never get EWCM but there is a lot more than normal.

LemonTree your SIL sounds vile!! Families eh? Most of our families/friends know about at least one of my mcs so don't ask any more thankfully.

Anyway, got a hideously busy day at work ahead tomorrow so I'd best go to bed :o ((hugs)) to all who need them xxxx

    You and me both pinkpig
I was working on the assumption that if I would be celebrating it as a tlp if it where a hpk instead of an opk then it must be positive and Id be oving but I think thats wrong so Im going to piac for the tests I have left and then leave alone ....... you know Ill cave and buy more
But yes I think the test line has to be darker than the control line :s

Good morning. I see piac is still a hot subject. I totally agree about thinking that it'd be a bfp on a hpk I'd be celebrating rather than desperately waiting for a bfp on opks. Hey ho, all in the name of operation baby!

We DTD again last night and used preseed again but this time I used the applicator too. Had no leakage. I do the bum on the pillow thing and I can't even remember why!

My iPod ap reckons I'll ov on Sunday so I'm still holding out a bfp on opk. Thanks for the advice Cleo about there being an obvious difference. I'd been stupidly hanging onto darker lines that weren't dark enough and would probably miss ov all together!

Good luck for the testing today Cleo.

I must be Cd16 or 17 and bd'ing like mad so I hope I get a positive opk soon! And of course everyone else here does too!

    Happy Friday!

Believe it helps the downward flow to the cervix for the swimmers. Just improves the angle really....:)

And Lemontree, sad old witch dried up witch is just jealous. OOO, what a successful life she leads in her mums bedroom. Has she never seen an overweight pregnant person before? Perhaps not from her mums bedroom but it does happen.
Hope it does for you soon so you can tell her to....ooo, rant over x

Well, I think AF might be sneaking up on me. My 3 days of spotting is getting a bit heavier now. Oh well, at least I'll be trying out pre-seed in November :D Month 9, here we come..... weeeee

I'm def going to start my cbfm a few days later this month, to see if I can at see that blooming peak just for once :rotfl:

And, last night, after spending an hour in the kitchen to make hubby one his favourites (home made meatballs) before he got home from work, I managed to burn them after only leaving them unattended for 10 mins!! Hubby gave me a big hug and sorted dinner for us in the end. What a waste of an hour..... I then decided to weigh myself on the wii fit to see if I'd lost any weight since kicking myself in the butt last weekend, and I've lost 2 pounds. :j
