Confession time my DH did this yesterday hes fine thank gawd! 

:T Well done for owning up. I think OH would be fine in doing it, but I'm more worried in case something was wrong but I guess the test wouldn't change that. Might add that to my January list if we're still trying then. Was it easy to use deborah?

Hurray for SmlSave! Hope everything goes smoothly. It's amazing what some good news can do to cheer us all up.

Has anyone told people they're TTC? I haven't told a soul (except OH or course) and don't plan to. Is really prefer not to say anything to anyone until the deal is sealed, if you know what I mean. Just being nosey really but interested to see how you are all handling the topic.

yeah we've told most of our family - well my boyfriend has told them as he is rather excited so i feel under pressure - they havent said anything to me - i hate it though when you go round and they offer you a alcoholic drink and you refuse then thats when they start talking oh is there something you want to tell us??!! but thats not the reason i dont want a drink

    Afternoon ladies!
Hope everyone is having a good day so far!

CD7 for me but as my cycles are short, I am taking it that I'm ovulating or about to (due to CM- Definitely don't think I need the preseed thing! TMI..?)

On a lighter note - After BD last night, went to the loo for a wee and on my way back to bed, hubby said - "Do you think it's a good idea that you go to the loo after BD? Won't it all come out?!?" :rotfl::rotfl: Which brings me onto seriousness.... - What do you do after BD..? :pI've always needed a wee after BD, couldn't possibly hold it; I would burst!!

Deb - I was on Cerazette for a year. Had very short periods (10-14 days) for about 3/4 months and they have only just recently started to get longer. Out of my last three, 2 have been 21 days and the most recent was 14 days. My first day is usually heavy and the few days after just 'average' (if there is such a thing). Feel amazing now after being on contraception for over 10 years (depo injection before Cerazette).

twi1light - We haven't told anyone (don't want to feel pressured) although I think family expect we are as it's 'about time'. My biggest worry is once we get BFP, how am I going to keep it quiet from work with morning sickness, etc...? I really wouldn't want work to know until after 12 weeks.... One step at a time.....!

YEAH Smlsave!!! :j Congrats! So excited for you!! How are you feeling?!? Any 'symptoms' to tell?!? Give us the info! :D (If you feel comfortable with that, of course!!)

i personally dont go to the toilet i just lie there and boyfriend brings me some tissue (too much info i know) :D
me and boyf had this discussion the other night after BDing i just said i dont want gravity to take effect and he just laughed at me saying that he'd only want the good swimmers to survive anyway so he didnt think it mattered going to the toilet - not that id go for a wee anyway cos usually ive just been before

I was upset he did it on his own as he always wants to see what I'm doing! He says it was really easy no funnels just a cup and pippette there's a solution u add and it's more like a dulux chart waiting on the colour to change!!  it was good and u can re-test in a week or so!

i love holidays - I'm glad it's not just my DH talking about what to do after BD!!

When I first had the 'bees and birds' chat with my mum, she told me that I must always go for a wee after to clean yourself out. (I know this doesn't make sense now but it did then!) After a few years of sitting on the loo until I wee'd, now I just do it automatically. It's weird how you can programme yourself to do things!
