hello lovelies :) how are you

CD27 here and nothing to report!
Fingers crossed Jen and WW2BR - would be lovely to have a little spate of BFP's (and one of them be mine!!)

AF is due on Sat, keep ssing but think most of it is my imagination. So much want it that I am making myself feel it. When I was pg I didn't have any symptoms until I was 5 weeks so I shouldn't expect a flood of them now!

it would be fab wouldnt it!! TTC triplets! :D i know what u mean about the SS, sometimes we just seem to trick ourselves! they could be real tho :) this month i've had 0 symptoms at all, so a bfp would be a lovely surprise

  • afternoon ladies :)

i'm taking a normal multi vitamin, are there any vits i shouldn't be taking while ttc?

i'm also taking agnus castus (or black agnus according to my hubby ) to balance out hormones after being on the pill and holland and barrett b-50 tablets to hopefully lengthen my luteal phase, anyone had any luck with those? :)

Stoopid question but why would you want to lengthen your luteal phase?

Folic acid? You should give the multi vits to your OH, and take pre-natal vits as it contains the right amount of folic acid and no vitamin A.

I take Vit B50 tabs, don't know if it's working, I know it takes a while, but I've been taking them since May:p My luteal phase was not short to begin with though. It is supposed to be good for PCOS too (which I have).

To give the eggy enough time to implant, don't want AF in the middle of the eggy trying to implant itself:o

Luteal should ideally be around 14 day, although anything between 10-16 is normal.
I have to go for an ultrasound next week to investigate further, and they are booking me in for a laparoscopy. I don't want it! Who else has had one? - please tell me it's not that bad.
Haven't had it, but anything for a baby:o
  • not a stupid question :)

mine is only roughly 11 to 12 days. the average, i think is 12 to 16 days. i want to try and lengthen it to give any ferilized eggs plenty of time to implant themselves ok. 11 or 12 days is probably fine, from what i've read but i just want to make sure. :)

yup taking folic acid, it's in the multi vitamin and the b-50 tablets. i'll get myself some pre-natal ones next week.

Indeed - and if there's something wrong I wanna know sooner rather than later. It's quite good that it'll be done so quickly as well, even if I do have to wait 10 weeks after for an appointment to discuss the results from it.

But DH (bless him) has decided that so I won't need to have it, we will dtd on every high day next month and on each peak day twice (the twice was my addition). That will be so awful for me ;)

I learn so much here it's great. I know I should know I should be taking b-50 but I didn't. So I will be popping to boots on my way home tonight. Thanks all
  • so wot do we make of the budget ladies??? Dunno about yous but that George Osbournes dreery voice was making me fall asleep  and it was wrapped up with so much jargon I'm not sure if I took in most of it!!! What do you ladies think???
