OMG I am shocked. Do you really plan when you have sex, be sporadic and let things happen. Would kill the passion for me.

I'm practicing being calm and not worrying, I've just not quite mastered it.... yet :o

I know some people get it bad. I just want to "feel" pg and reassured :o

    xx

Emsbet, how far along were you last time when you mc'd? I would imagine that getting past that milestone would be a big relief for you, but if/when I get pg again, I will be going straight to my doctor and asking for an early scan. Other thing you could do is yoga, my boss did yoga right throughout her pregnancies and she really enjoyed it, it's very good at calming you down - just let them know you're pg or better still, go to a class specifically for pregnant ladies. Or meditation, going to look into that now as I could do with a bit of de-stressing!

Yeah, spontaneity is for the other 20 days of the month! I think I had the same opinion as you when I started TTC but 7 months later, I just want to give myself the best chance of getting pregnant.

gosh, you lot can gas - takes me ages to catch up them forgot who said what - this is generally why I never have much to say!!

Welcome new ladies, hope your stay is short but sweet!!

Hugs to Mr fannyanna, hope he's on the mend and soon able to perform!!;)

Bigzee - you weight loss is inspiational, well done xx

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

Decided to stop temping, opks dates etc and relax (who am I kidding eh!!!) Been to hospital today, got loads of blood forms for day4, 21 and 28 bloods, rubella antibodies (and something else). Also have to go for an x-ray once dye has been injected into my tubes:eek: eek!! DH also has to do another SA. We then go back in 4 months for all the results and an ultrasound of my ovaries. Oh, also has some swabs taken today to check for infections before the x-ray jobbie.....and breathe!!!
I feel like things are moving on so feel a bit more relaxed (even though I don't want to wait 4 whole months to get results!!!)

QQ, I'm jealous! Your holiday sounds amazing - have a fabulous time...I'm sure it will do you the world of good

Please can I guess 9 BFP's for this month

I do...I feel like if AF comes at least I'll know it was ov and that I'm on the right track and know what my luteal phase is. If not then I'm stuck with not knowing what's going on, or whether to look for pg or ov signs or what...:o

Hi BigZ. hope you dont mind me sticking my head round the door and butting in... Just wanted to say, that i had NO idea what my LP was when i was preparing to start TTC after coming off the pill, and was really worried that being 35 and a bmI higher than desirable, that i wasnt OV at all. I decided to take the £ pain, and bought 90 OPKs from amazon, and basically blitz tested, tested and tested again (POAS to the maxx!)
I started off by just testing the 8 days around when the "average" cycle would have the LP. I got no positives or even a line at all, so gradually expanded my testing days, to the week before and week after the "average". I kept moving the dates outwards in each direction until i started to see some lines on the OPKs. Then i could concentrate on 7 days around the faint lines, and moved to testing up to 4 times a day till i could pinpoint the most likely days for my OV. I never actually got a line as dark as the control, just gradually darkening, and then lightening more quickly again.
I used a mobile APP called Pink Pad (Android free app) to track my AF dates, and used the app to take my OPK results and predict my subsequent OV dates. It took me 3 months to nail my (very short and late) LP down, then 2 months of taking Agnus Castus to improve my LP (by 3 days), using OPKs to keep tabs on the ov, and then the first month we TTC, we were lucky enough to get our BFP.
It was a bit obsessive as a way of getting things done, but it worked for us... Good thing the amazon OPKs were so cheap!

Good luck everyone, hope to see even more of you with your BFPS!

I ordered my AC (also known as chasteberry), from Amazon (saved going to the shops), but you can get it online elsewhere, and i think in H&B. There are different strengths, which just measn take one pill per day, or two separately usually. Mine were the single dose -400 i think. The research i followed said to take it everyday, but i know that elsewhere, people have suggested to only take for part of the cycle.

The articles/research docs i read specifically on use of AC for short luteal phase/luteal phase defect (rather than general cycle regulation), suggested use all month around, and that it was perfectly safe to do so. Other articles which looked at its use for general fertility/cycle improvement, seemed to focus more on the benefits of AC in the second half of the cycle post Ov, until AF arrives.
I agree lots of conflicting info, but i think maybe its down to your reason for using it?
