Be careful what you wish for. My colleague didn't find out she was preggars until she was 5 weeks gone. A couple of days later, MS started and she's barely coping at the moment.

She's had days off, and had to come in late and leave early a lot of the time. And I feel useless cos I can't help :(

i agree. im 12 weeks tomoro (finally!) and i have had the worst few weeks ever! not actually been sick so it cud have been worse but these first 3 months are really really not nice! DH felt helpless as there was nothing he could do to make me feel better. i can honestly say i have never felt so unwell and generally not myself ever (except when i had mumps). so be careful what u wish for.

I was had 3 weeks off work and still have bad days (today is one :() i was even at the point where i said we just cant have another until our first is at least 3-4 years old and I dont have to be fully relied on as i couldnt cope with looking after myself let alone a baby.

sorry dont mean to put anyone off :) but it is tough! xxx

Ok, just been to Mr T's and bought some pure grapefruit juice. Is it before OV you are supposed to drink it and how much should you have a day please? xx

Though funnily enough, I'm not sure I'd go on that thread when I was newly pg. I'm not convinced it would help reassure me...:o I guess it would depend who was on it with me etc tho
If I ever get pg, I think I may stay away from posting on that thread. Will obviously lurk:D
They still work for a while though, don't they?
It does, some expired ones are sold on ebay:)

ANd Dh is a nightmare and get ridiculously grumpy when travelling. He'd be no good flying lang haul!!
So is mine:o I'm perfectly fine though, I love flying:)
My temps are stable are they? I thought they were quite up and down but I'm a chemist/metallurgist so I'm used to working to lots of decimal places, not just 2 !!!
You should look at other people's charts:D
I don't exactly batch cook but when I make something for tea I often make extra and then freeze the leftovers for another day.
Me too. I need to get some containers for batch freezing:cool:

I'm not sure if I'd even be able to lurk... we'll see WHEN the time comes ;)

They do packs of about 6 tupperware type boxes that takeaways come in from pound shop type places (for 99p) and also tin foil tray things with the cardboard top (again like takeaways come in) too (which are really handy for shepherds pies etc, so you can bung em straight in the oven) ...though I realise that on the other side of the world, that doesn't really help you ;)
Donuts:happyhear Haven't had them for years:o
Morrison's bakery's own are so fit. It's hard not to eat the whole pack! :o

Hi All,

I posted to introduce myself on the waiting to ttc thread, and then went quiet... and now I'm over here!

DH and I are on cycle 3 of trying (I'm at CD13 today), and we've decided that for at least the next 3 months (or until I get fed up) we're going to use a laid back, relaxed attitude to trying.

I've actually been stalking this thread for some time, so I thought it was about time I introduced myself... I'm currently suffering extreme paranoia that someone from work will a) realise that I'm spending my time on this website and b) find out we're trying. So that's fun.

I have been on here for a couple of weeks now, also addicted to it at work (pretty sure some people have seen me on here lol!) I am also in my thrid cycle of TTC, but have succumbed to pretty much every TTC aid there is going now :rotfl:Good luck, hope your stay is a short one xx
