I'm fine. More or less working part-time at the moment which is nice. Yes part-time has meant 12 hour days (15 inc commute) but I just feel as if I have been much more productive.

I'm sorry - I'm boring everyone with my 'I am so busy bo**ocks'. I think its because I know that come September life will be much simpler. I'm still in bed just now. Been up since 6am... had a coffee and a snuggle before Mr Praline left, but literally just trawling the web now.

Hmmm.... Suppose I had better start my day (running around my neck of London all day via car, foot and TFL) *puts benny hill music on and rushes around*

Wow still in bed, i can never stay in bed til late, start getting all fidgety and feel i can be doing sometihng useful around the house...

I love that benny hill music... sometimes chase dh around the house when I'm feeling naughty and he's trying to get away lol

    Morning Ladies :)

Thank god its Friday, a nice break from work! Well, my cramps are still here this morning, though the back pain has gone for now. BD'ed last night and actually managed to get the little !!!!!!s to stay in, though if my cycle is running as normal it will be too late now - typical!

Off for half an hour of go-karting after work with the other half and some family so if I am lucky enough to already have a little bean in there its in for a bumpy ride! Will have to take it easy just in case :D

Have a wonderful Friday everyone, wishing you all luck with your bd-ing and huge good luck to those testing today, hope its good news for you xx

Yeah I know it's the safest form of transport but I can't help it :o

I usually have to have sedatives to get on the plane (although not too strong that they knock me out - I want to be awake if anything happens!) but when we went on honeymoon I didn't want to take them because we were starting to TTC so I did lots of reading on how planes work and found some really good information that helped me a lot.
DH also helped by reminding me of what I had read and just being his wonderful self and taking care of me :o
I managed both flights (the longest I'd ever been on) without taking anything :j I was soooo proud of myself :o

    xx

No matter how many times I hear it or read about it, I cannot get over the immense fear. I know in my head why it is (it's a control thing), but I cannot seem to get over it.

Ive had 2 really awful panic attacks on a plane, one onec getting on and when you walk through first class to get to the cattle shed... which was VERY embarassing.

And another on the way back from spain, and they had to get the oxygen for me.

I now tak valium to fly - but it has eased a bit through (and this will sound ridiculous) pretending to be ok with it when I am with DS. I do not want him scare him... so it's getting a bit better.

I usually have a meltdown for about 3 days before a flight and it takes at least 2-3 days the other end to get back to normal.

Well DW has arrived safely on her first leg... *tries not to panic about next one*

    Glad she got there ok.

I have an issue with the lack of control (that's the main reason I'm not a great TTCer! :p) and also lot of people in a confined space, and the height and also the terrorism threat too. I'm such a neurotic so and so! :o The information about how planes worked helped me with the height issue and the feeling that we would just fall out the sky but not the other things. Oh well it's just one of those things I have to learn to live with. DH isn't allowed on a plane without me anymore though!
