Now - news from the House of Praline:D

I am posting simply because a CBFM came in for us today.... Mr Praline figured I might want a gadget (I have mentioned it to him a few times).

I am embarrassed to say that TTC-ing has taken a massive back burner. Mr Praline has been working some nutty hours, we both went away separately this month, we have had plenty of BD-ing but more recreational rather than procreational :rotfl:

We have spent some time together, but are very passing ships at the moment. My stress levels are low, but only as in I am 'doing' rather than 'stressing'. I have my end of cycle events for the volunteering that I do, a rather nice social life at the moment (I am having to start decline events) a heavily workload due to sickness and MORE importantly.... a 30k word piece of work to be submitted by September:eek:

I am currently writing up. Soooo...... the House of Praline is absent largely to life. I do pop in to check my dates but I forgot to test with HPK's or OPK's (whatever I'm using) so I have no idea when I ovulated last month, but considering Mr Pralines sudden need for constant sex over a four day period I suspect he was aware of it:rotfl:.

Thanks Emsbet... I think you are turning into a mini QQ with all your useful great advice (i mean that in the nicest possible way!!) :)

Hahahaha! I think it's just because I happen to be online a lot (too much some might say - especially my boss! ;))

Hallo All!!!! Yes, it is me. The prodigal TTC-er.

Emsbet - I hate flying. Drink helps. It's the trans-atlantic/turbulence doodahs that I seriously hate... I mean - I'm in a tin facking can thousands of feet above the ground:eek:

    :hello: Hey Praline!

I definitely can't drink on a plane - I spend enough time getting up to wee as it is - they would think I was up to something very dodgy if I went anymore (which is what happens when I drink!)

We did have turbulence all the way back from Boston and I kept grabbing poor DH hand when he was trying to sleep (night flight!) :o

good morning and I feel very happy today......its friday!

well, another high temp today. As this is my first month (forgive me if I sound thick) but what happens to your temp if a) AF is coming and b) implantation.

I know that you experts know everything there is to need! :D

Hope you all well and well done on anyone that BD last night....i was tired!

High temp is good - haven't seen your chart today but when I looked yesterday it was looking good :).

If AF is on her way then you would see a temp drop (quite a dramatic one) and then she will normally appear that day or the next.

Thanks emsbet - you are a little fountain of knowledge :T

this is all still new to me but I am getting better at the whole temping thing now so hopefully next month will be our month!

Just another quick one, if there is implantation do you see this reflected in your temp or does it just stay high above the horizontal line? xx

I'm fine. More or less working part-time at the moment which is nice. Yes part-time has meant 12 hour days (15 inc commute) but I just feel as if I have been much more productive.

I'm sorry - I'm boring everyone with my 'I am so busy bo**ocks'. I think its because I know that come September life will be much simpler. I'm still in bed just now. Been up since 6am... had a coffee and a snuggle before Mr Praline left, but literally just trawling the web now.

Hmmm.... Suppose I had better start my day (running around my neck of London all day via car, foot and TFL) *puts benny hill music on and rushes around*

That's good to know - I like to be useful! :)

I have to say most of my knowledge is just taken from QQ and also FF (another place I spend too much time!) - I'm just a bit of a sponge and soak up information about stuff (even more so when I have a big interest in the subject).

DH likes to fill my head with football information then try and insist I'm interested because I remember (no my dear, memory is not the same as interest).

You can get a dip around te time of implantation as this is when the corpus luteum (the part of your ovary where the eggie burst from) starts to slow it's production of progesterone (which is the hormone that causes your increased temp). Your temp then picks up again as the beanie implants and starts producing progesterone.
Not all people who get pg have an implantation dip and not all of those who have an implantation dip will be pg. It's only named that because it coincide with implantation.
