I got married Saturday and it was the most amazing day of my life!I've been busy, busy, busy and still feel it!
I've really missed you all, but hopefully when things calm down I will join you all again
Good luck to all the BFP's while i've been gone!
I had AF before my wedding but have no idea what CD i'm on
Speak to you all again soon!

Hi Emsbet & Qquaver,
Thanks for the speedy replies :0)
Well, my first 3 cycles after coming off the pill were like clockwork but last month AF started 4 days early which I thought was very strange. I can usuallly tell when I am OV because of the change in CM and the tummy pains but I only noticed the change in CM once this cycle (though we do BD pretty much every other day regardless of the CD - I find it keeps it 'normal' so neither of us feel pressured) so I am not too hopeful this month.
I think if we havent had any luck this time I will give the Pre-seed and OV testing a go, really expensive though! I'll probably not let the other half know, I dont want him to feel under pressure :0)0 -

First ever smiley on ov kit for me today :T.
Had a follow up scan for my ovarian cyst today. It's shrunk significantly and whilst I had a couple of blood tests done as a precaution the consultant told me to "go away and get pregnant" (good job as we've been really putting the work in for the past few days):D It was an internal scan though so hope the gel stuff they use doesn't affect swimmers
:j:j for the smiley on OPK and the good news re: cyst!I think if we havent had any luck this time I will give the Pre-seed and OV testing a go, really expensive though! I'll probably not let the other half know, I dont want him to feel under pressure :0)
OPKs can be cheap if you get them online (only about £10 I think) There is a link on the first page

Glad the cyst shrunk:)It was an internal scan though so hope the gel stuff they use doesn't affect swimmers :cool:I just say that I've got a couple of health issues that need to be sorted first before I even THINK of popping out babies. That usually shuts people up, especially men as they're scared you'll start talking about periods and stuff
In most of the cases, they just say as an alternative way to say hello. They aren't particularly interested in your reply:ox_Charlie_x wrote: »I got married Saturday and it was the most amazing day of my life!I've been busy, busy, busy and still feel it!I think if we havent had any luck this time I will give the Pre-seed and OV testing a go, really expensive though! And instead of Preseed, drink one glass of grapefruit juice from around CD7 to ov? (Stop after ov as it's not good for implantation).
Preseed is for those with not much cm. From the sound of it, you seem to have enough:D Drinking lots of fluid will do the job too:)0 -
Thanks QQ and emsbet.
I keep thinking I should just tell one of them we're trying and it'll get round the group and people will stop asking. The problem is it's difficult enough being a girl in this industry without letting on that (eventually) I might go on maternity leave...
TBH, I'd be tempted to have had that little rant at them, to embarrass them and let them have a taster of feeling so bad.
I understand why you don't want to though. **HUGS**February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Why not just do ov testing using cheap OPKs from amazon?

Thanks for the link, its the same company I have stocked up on pregnancy tests fromI'll give it a go, it cant hurt. Will probably give the gel a go too anyway, might stop the little swimmers from escaping without resorting to lying with my legs in the air:rotfl:

Next time I'll take the +hpt and leave the temp rise then please!
Does anyone know where there is that chart online that tells you what % of hpts are accurate - I think 11DPO is about 50%?
I tested negative from 7DPO till 11 DPO and got my first VERY faint positive from 12 DPO but looking back at them now (all lined up on my dresser) Im amazed i could see anything at all !
Still hope yetBow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -

I am sort of TTC following the birth of my beautiful baby boy last november. Here goes...why oh why will people not stop asking me when I am going to have children?!? Fair enough, I got married last year, but I wish they could realise that I am trying and struggling and that every time they ask me my chest tightens to the size of a walnut. I'm sure it is blatently obvious from my face that I'm panicking for a light hearted answer and I'm sure I don't manage it.
I know what you mean. I've been married nearly 2years too and "they" have been asking since before we got engaged. Before we were engaged I used to say something like "well, we're not even engaged yet!" When we were engaged I used to say "can I finish getting married first?!" Now we're married...well, I run out of clich!sWhen anyone asks when we're having kids I just say it's not our decision it's for the man upstairs to decide. Speaking of DH was really sweet last night when I had AF pains, I said I was sad there was no sticky bean this month, and he told me God will send us our LO when he's good and ready, but right now he's taking care of him for us while He makes the finishing touches. I liked that idea.I do think it's God's timing etc ...but if he could get a move on...!!:D:rotfl:
