Hi Ladies,

I am in my thrid month of TTC No. 1 and am getting a bit impatient already! Can anyone recommend an accurate ovulation testing kit please? And does anyone think they do help?

Thank you :0)

Stupid question is the 10mIU stronger than the 20mIU test?

10miU is stronger (more sensitive and catch hcg earlier).

I figured as much about Smash, but just wondering how she's doing in general. I hope she's OK.

I'm also wondering how GG and Phunkles are getting on. I hope they get their BFP's soon, if they haven't already. And that goes for anyone else who may have headed over there too (and everyone on here too, of course).
I'd love to know how Phunkles is doing with DH living miles away (like me):o
As for GG, Smash and Tinksy, they are still TTC (I stalk their charts:shhh:).

The best one would be Clearblue Fertility monitor, but it is pricey:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-81104584-Fertility-Monitor/dp/B0012PB8EO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&m=A4DI4ZJ5WTRP7&qid=1310649560&sr=1-2
And the sticks:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-Fertility-Monitor-Test-Sticks/dp/B0012PFG0Q/ref=acc_glance_d_ai_ps_t_1

I use these too:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001G7STT0/ref=pd_luc_mri?ie=UTF8&m=A4DI4ZJ5WTRP7

As for the monitor, some bought it for £20 at larger Superdrugs:money:

I think it helps a lot, it detects LH surges. Clearblue ones detect both estrogen and LH surges.
I use both:o

I think I may have my first ever UTI:(

It started an hour and a half ago, after I went to the loo.
The urge didn't stop after I've been, and I went again a minute ago to find my pee pink (on tissue):( I still have the urge to go again.

If this continues 'till tomorrow, I think I may have to pay my doctor a visit:( I'll get cranberry juice tomorrow too.

Does it sound like UTI?
I wonder if I got from my BD on Tuesday? I did shower next morning...

It does sound like it. EIther way, with pink in the urine, you should definitely get it checked.

Fingers crossed it's not too bad and is short lived.

Was it painful when you went at all? Kinda like pressing on a bruise? I used to get them all the time when I was younger, eventually I realised that it happened if I DTD while having a full (or moderately full) bladder. Usually because I was too randy to stop and go to the loo ;)

I hope you're OK and it's nothing serious, cranberry juice does really help :) But defo go to the doc for the pink in urine, better to be safe!

Yea sounds like it honey! Did it sting to wee? I never get the stinging myself but I do get the irritable bladder urgency to go. No sooner do you pull up your pants and you wanna go again :( And bad tummy ache. Aim to drink 1/2 a pint of water every 20 minutes for the next 3 hours. You will go shedloads but it should wash it out before it takes hold too much. I read that from a consultant i'll try and find the link for you.

Got it: http://www.cambridgeurologypartnership.co.uk/pdf/recurrent_cystitis_info_sheet.pdf

In future wee wee BEFORE and AFTER rumpy pumpy. After will wash out whatever got pushed up. Unfortunately taking a shower won't help :(

It's getting WORSE!!!!!
I'm getting real blood, almost like AF with tiny clots. I'm dying!!!!!!!
It's 22:13 here in Singapore. Do you think I should go to 24hr walk in clinic? Could it be kidney stones?

I can't believe it could get this bad in few hours. Better wear some towels.
