Congratulations NorthernGirlie! Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Hope you manage to get everything sorted out fannyanna - it doesn't sound very nice.
Just back from Zumba and then toning class and then my parents' house to feed their cat. Off to hit the shower now, and hopefully turn back to a more normal shade rather than the bright red that I'm currently sporting. My back is hurting again, and I think it is down to my driving position being slightly twisted. Not sure though, as my friend who took me to lunch yesterday said that both her and her husband had had the same pain down the right side of their backs, and Moon has had a pain in his too - she thinks it could be some strange sort of virus. Whatever it is, I hope it goes soon.
Dinner after the shower and then BD. Got to catch that eggie!
Hugs to all who need or want them,

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a great weekend. I've had a lovely one out enjoying the sunshine - wearing plenty of SPF30 of course...!
Big congrats to northerngirlie! :j :j :j
Well I'm on CD14 today but no sign of ov yet... DH came home this avo so we DTD thenand will keep at it for the next few days during which hopefully I will ov at some point. Haven't had anything to drink all weekend (difficult when the weather just begs me to sit outside with a glass of ice cold cider...!) so I hope I do ov soon!
Am aching like mad from my strength-training session at the gym yesterday morning followed by a day gardening and lugging huge bags of compost around! Shame I've had a ridiculous appetite lately, otherwise I might have a chance of losing some weight...! :rotfl:
Right, I think I'm going to go and get ready for bed and a nice early night
night night

Congrats Northern Girl! Hope you have a happy 8 months ahead of you.
Hope its nothing serious Fannyanna.
CD2 for me. Very low PMA at the moment, had a fight with DH, he said he wants to stop trying :-o I got really upset, but what he meant was he wants to "not try, not prevent". He says I spend too much time looking at calendars, I don't know what he'd say if he knew I posted on here as well :-D my little secret.
We went to the inlaws for lunch and DHs cousin offered us a Travel Cot(hardly used), he asked if we wanted it "for one day when we decide to have kids" and DH said no.
Sometimes it feels like we not on the same page re: TTC. Really frustrating.Wins 2015:

Ahhh
Do you mind me asking how long you've been trying.
Maybe giving yourself a little break is what you need. You often hear about people who conceive when they have a break or have gone on holiday or something. I guess it's true when they say that stress can be a factor.
Maybe he's just feeling a bit emotional about it all too. Obviously it's a very up and down journey as a woman but I think the men can get just as "hormonal" about it all too. Maybe he's just having one of those days.
Either way I'm sending lots of baby dust your way!

Hi Girlies!
Hope everyone have been enjoying the nice weather!
Just a quick thanks to AmandaD- about her advice re: laparoscopy. I think I was in a state of shock on Tuesday night after the specialist told me I'd have to have it. I think the thought of having general anasthetic scared me the most I think. I hadn't realised that laparoscopy was also referred to as lap and dye. I'd be interested to find out if you, or anyone else who's had it, had to take a lot of time off work to recover? When the time comes- not sure what to tell my boss or should I take time off as holidays rather than sick leave to avoid telling people?
So sorry to hear bout your brother Emsbet. You're right tho' it's not just th TTC bit that's hard.
Congrats Northern Girlie Brilliant news. All the best for the next 8 and a half months!
I'm now on CD20. Thought I was going to ov'ate last week as had a few days of EWCM but sti no rise in temp. Crossing fingers it'll be sometime this week now.0 -
I'm at CD12, no sign of fertile cm:o
I won't see DH until the middle of this month, so I have great opportunity to study my cm (no confusing remains of BD;)). I don't want to waste CBFM sticks just yet though, but might sneak an opk.
Hope I ov late so I can have a chance this month:oshe thinks it could be some strange sort of virus. Whatever it is, I hope it goes soon.
Could it be too much BD?:pAm aching like mad from my strength-training session at the gym yesterday morning followed by a day gardening and lugging huge bags of compost around! They don't like BD for making babies:o
What I do is look at calenders, temp, opks, post in forums etc etc, but don't let DH know I'm doing it. I only tell him if he asks when I ov or have AF. Nothing more:cool:'d be interested to find out if you, or anyone else who's had it, had to take a lot of time off work to recover?I'm now on CD20. Thanks so much everyone - it's not sunk in yet! We've been TTC since New Years Eve so it's been exactly 6 months. OH confessed yesterday that he'd kind of thought he might have 'duff swimmers' (he's 40, used to be a heavy smoker etc) and had thought we'd have been off to the fertility clinic at some point! He's now very proud of his swimmers and can't wait to brag about them! I've told him he's got to keep it quiet but I know that he's sooo bad at keeping secrets!! Not really sure what happens now - spent all weekend Googling it - lol! I'm guessing I'm meant to ring the doctors?? (Hate going to the docs - think I've been about 5 times as an adult and I'm 33!!)
QQ - I don't know what 'ss' ing is??

After 2 days of highs on my CBFM, I got my egg symbol today (CD16). So excited! Is that sad?Hope everyone is well and that your hangover isn't too bad bigzippy.
It took practically all day to bog off, but I'm back on the wagon for another 6-12months now lol
He may not believe your temps:pI know it was less than a week ago but I've started feeling quite uncomfortable again (even had to take some painkillers yesterday) and I have a yellowish discharge now (once again sorry for the TMI). I don't know whether this is perfectly normal or whether I'm starting to get an infection.
1- could it be creamy CM? I get it sometimes that's like yellowy snot, and sometimes with some discomfort - maybe it's something as innocuous as that?
2- if you are worried/want to get it checked out without more time off for GP appts, could you go to a local walk in centre or maybe see the OOH doc (which I wouldn't've advocated other than because it was a weekend you were worrying about it, etc)?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Secondly: ringing the docs would be a good plan. The receptionists'll either tell you to see the midwife straight off (rather than see doc first) or see doc first and he'll refer you through. You're unlikely to see the midwife til you're somewhere around 10 weeks from what I gather.
Thirdly: SSing is symptom spotting
Fourthly: there's a thread on here for newly pregnant ladies (less than 12wks thread I think it's called) if you wanted to join them for moral support and they could probably answer a few more questions about what happens next (tho they tend to pop back and lurk etc too)
Fifthly: CONGRATULATIONS again"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Morning everyone!
Big congrats to Northern Girlie! All the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy :T
Hugs to those who need them, particularly fannyanna, hope it's nothing serious and goes away naturally.
I had a pretty low weekend, mostly on Sunday. Partly I think because I had a very busy and slightly stressful week last week, and partly because at the beginning of the week I was really optimistic about my cycle coming back into line. I even bought some OPKs and Conceive+ so that we'd know when our best chance was. However, I'm now on CD19, have been POAS for the last 6 days and got nothing, nada, zip. Have been checking my CM as well and no sign of EWCM either. So come Sunday I realised this is going to be another long cycle and all my PMA crumbled again. I was a bit naughty and ate half a viennetta to drown my sorrows. Then I got a headache from all the unexpected sugar! Serves me right really...
Anyway, PMA back again this morning, I have my doc appt this Friday so I just need to keep going until I can talk to someone 'in authority' about it and confirm what I need to be doing to get back on track TTC.
