    Hi Mozzy

Of course you can, as we discuss CM and BD on here i'm not gonna get uppity about my age :) I'm 27, which i know is not too bad and the Dr said if i were older they would do something more now which i do totally understand it's just a little frustrating to think i was getting somewhere to be told i have to wait another 11 months!

Also does anyone know-is it 2 years or 24 cycles?

Congrats Emmylou!! All the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy! :j

Big hugs Darkphaery and Derby! Accupuncture?

I have my ultrasound scan tomorrow morning to check for cysts. DH has taken the morning off to come with me which makes me feel a bit better, but still pretty nervous. Guess it's going to be an internal scan and can't say I'm thrilled about it :o. It's all in the name of getting that elusive BFP though, right?? Plus can't even treat myself to chips or chocolate afterwards due to low carb/low sugar diet I'm currently on (and hating, btw). It seems like everyone has chosen this moment to give me chocolate, I now have a huge pile on a high shelf in my lounge that just STARES at me all evening! Bah. Lack of PMA right now, hoping a stint in the gym this evening will perk me up again!

    Hey Scarly.

I'm in the same position as you. I have to have a scan but am waiting for the date at the moment. Just think it's one scan and then you're done and dusted x

Hope it all goes well. When I had my scan last week I had an external one and then an internal one and it wasn't that bad really. The scanning thingy the use is pretty scary looking as it is quite large but they only put the very end inside you the rest is so they can reach from their seat to move it around.

Thanks for letting me know! I have to confess the furthest I'd got on imagining it was as a very long pokey stick... At least now I'll know that most of it is for holding rather than anything else _pale_ :D

Thanks fannyanna, sounds like we really at pretty much at the same stage! How long have you been waiting for an appt for the scan? My doc sent through the request the day I saw him (19th May) so it's been over a month for me. Plus it will be another couple of weeks before I get to discuss the results and then I can get some actual 'official' advice on what I'm supposed to be doing. :rotfl:

It's a long pokey stick with a condom on the it!
Honestly though it looks a LOT scary than it is - they really don't put it in far and it doesn't hurt.

    xx

P.S Hope I'm not scaring you! I thought I could put your mind at ease but I'm not sure I'm doing a good job at explaining! ;)

I completely understand how anxious one can get. I only started trying at the age of 34, so knew if we had any problems, with us both approaching mid 30's, we'd get something done.
Its hard when all's you want to do is find out if there are any problems now, rather than after 2 years of trying.
