Sorry guys! Maybe we should be :silenced::shhh: for a while? I am grateful for the chit chat though it's kept my mind off things and stopped me driving myself crazy googling! :o

Lifestyle and effect on fertility has been a consideration for us... We just decided to ignore all OTT claims until we go over a year of TTC.

Oh - I have a question... I've been told I should be taking folic acid (a pharmacist friend of mine). My response was that women have got pregnant and given birth to healthy children on a diet of gruel, so my western dieted, medically scanned, pampered and looked after a*re should have no need for extra vitamins to safe guard against what I presume to be an uncommon condition for which the vitamins do not have a 100% guarentee for protecting against *gasps for air*.

DISCLAIMER:I have no issue with people who take precautions - we all do what we think is right for us and my methods can be classed as reckless. I think. In any case what you do is not my problem, so please do not see it as an attack on whatever precautions you take. i am asking for advice.

Question: Am I just being difficult? I have a bad attitude when it comes to companies selling you stuff based on guilt/anixety (which is exactly what I am doing now). Am I the only person not taking anything? Any stats on folic acid/spina bifida? Is there anything else that I should consider?

In anycase, I shall leave you all to discuss/debate/decide Praline is a totally irresponsible pre-parent, and my egg and I shall leave work to go for drinkypoos and read over the weekend probably.

    Have a good weekend all.

And for those who have reason to have a difficult one... keep busy. Sort out some letters, do a massive houseclean, do your hair/nails etc. But try to keep busy and your mind off things that you cannot control.

Big Zippy I'm not sure if it was me.

But to be fair - everyday is a hornbeast for me. I've been known to travel to to Mr Pralines workplace for a quickie in the toilets:whistle:

I kid you not... I have a naturally high drive. But will settle for quality over quantity so the amount of bd we have isn't everyday IYSWIM.

Just not always at convienient times and my drive is totally affected by how I feel! This recent stress meant that we only bd'd maybe twice last month...

Felt like breaking a seal when we finally got started again.:rotfl:
