So, there I was saying that I would be starting the temping thing ... halfway down the stairs to let the dog out for a wee this morning I remembered that I should have taken my temp before I moved an inch. Meh.

    I'll try again tomorrow morning.
Ah i'm very lucky I can get away with this. I always go to the loo before doing anything else so I often take the thermometer with me and so it whilst i'm sat there :rotfl:My temp rise is normally so high that it's easy to see. I can do this up to an hour after waking quite safely.

LOL :rotfl:dont worry we all feel like this sometimes - how long have you been trying? is there any factors that you know of that you will struggle to conceive? Tell me to mind my own business if you want its just that
    1 I am nosey
2 im not aware of any problems and your the first person that sounds like me

I’ve not been trying for long at all so I’m not really allowed to moan yet :D.

My Doc has diagnosed me with PCOS and put me on Metformin. After at least 8/9 months without a period I finally had one and I’m now CD25 :j. I’m really, really hoping that I have another period when it’s due. Just been having blood tests to see if I ovulate – fingers crossed. But even if they do come back showing that I have my Doc has suggested that I may have blocked tubes (tested positive for Chlamydia when I was younger :o) and has been suggesting all sorts of nasty tests/procedures.

Anyway, it could all be fine so I just need to stop moaning :D

QQ- Thanks so much for my trophy, I feel so special...hehe! It's weird looking at the list and i'm not top now!
That was a one massive cycle:p
Hope norethisterone will regulate your cycles, and don't give up hope on a bean just yet, we hear people getting pg on a pill all the time:D

Thats because I am top of the list - hope someone knocks me off soon :p
Good luck getting pg or AF:o

I have, however, survived my first proper day in my new job. I was quite nervous this morning, and a few of the children were too, but I think a good day was had by all.
    Well done sexymouse:T

We didn't get our 4 yr old until we gave up trying for him - we got to the top of the list for IVF and I couldn't go through with it. We decided that child free was the way to go and 6 months later I was expecting naturally :T
If it worked once, it may work again this time...
It's a bit hard for me on threads like this as I don't want to take the ttc too seriously for myself, I'm convinced that was the main reason that it took so long for us.
I know what you mean, but these threads are so addictive:p
    Don't take TTC too seriously:cool:

    Oooops:shocked:
Can I have your details again please?:o
I've come to the conclusion that I may have been chemically PG - but not a sticky one, I'm still spotting, it's not like AF but gradually getting redder now.
I'm so sorry (((hugs))). One is supposed to be super fertile after a chemical, so good luck this cycle:o

He he, you'll get used to it soon:o
I think I can test on them from CD 10 ish?

It says to not drink anything and wait for 3 hours before testing and that I should do the text in the daytime (not the morning as the hormone is developed and released in the morning???)
    CD10 sounds good:)
One can do FMU, but other than that, I'd try late afternoon and before going to bed. LH should peak in the afternoon - usually.

Hey folks, just wondering if you could add me to the list? Been trying for #1 since Jan, got pregnant and miscarried in April, am now on CD10. Am hoping all this stuff flying about that women are more fertile after a mc is true! Anyway, went back on the grapefruit juice yesterday as I drank that in Mar/Apr when I got pregnant and am hoping the success I had with this last time will repeat itself again (without the same eventual result, obviously)
I've added you to the list:wave:
Good luck with grapefruit juice (stop after ov;)), and I know your next bean is going to be a sticky one:o

PS - Appointment at clinic is 2 hours - eek!
    Good luck!
Not much to report here. Nose is still bleeding - I get nosebleeds every single month before AF, so I really don't hold out much hope! Stomach has swelled like a balloon too, so I think it's impending. Bloody witch! :D Do any of you lovely ladies have any idea when a good day to test might be just in case? I'm CD 27 but don't know how long my cycle will be this month.
    Perhaps tomorrow?
Yes please - eek, TTC seems a bit more real now!
    It's real:cool:

I got into work a bit late and our PA asked me if I was pregnant. Apparently my boss thinks I am but said he couldn’t ask me so our not so subtle PA just came out with it.

    Hi all!

Sorry in advance if this makes no sense but my head is all over the place at the min...... Not really sure why I’m posting either.

I've been a long time lurker on this board and posted a few months ago as there had been a change in my periods but I was getting negative test results. Background is I came off Microgynon about 15 months ago, we have been trying TC although as he works away from home we sometimes miss the best chances.

After about 13 months of trying I got a bit disheartened (I know people go a lot longer than that though!) and made the mistake of looking up on the internet why we hadn't had a BFP in all that time. Well after that I had convinced myself that I either had PCOS or I was going though an early menopause.

Anyway... I had to book an appointment with the doctor (unrelated to TC) which is for later this afternoon. I had a period at the end of May which was very light and dark, pretty much how they have been for the last few months. While I was watching tv last night I had this sudden urge to do a test, not sure why I suddenly wanted too. So this morning I POAS and got a BFP with an Asda test!!! I was just about to throw the test away and had a quick look at the window and there was 2 lines!! Not believing it to be correct I popped in and bought a CB digital and have just done that, it's come up pregnant 2 - 3 weeks! I'm still not convinced I am, I haven't had any sickness or the likes.

I guess on the bright side I already have an appointment with the doctor this afternoon so can discuss it with him but as hubby is away working I can't really talk to anyone about it. It's not something I want to tell him over the phone.

Like I say, I’m not really sure why I posted, I think I just needed to get it off my chest. Thanks
