I know this is a bit of an odd question and a bit out of the blue but....

Is anyone else trying to have their first baby with a husband/partner who already has a child or children from a previous relationship?

ME ! Well just had our First child with my new Hubby -

I have a 13 year old DD from my 1st marriage

My new hubby and I lost our first bean then we got caught with the daughter I had in November now we are trying again :o

I ended up with a 13 year and 4 day age gap :eek:

I know it's silly but sometimes it feels like having my nose rubbed into the fact that he has these children that weren't even planned. We delayed TTC due to the financial impact it has on us that he already has children and now it looks as though we'll have trouble conceiving (no idea yet if I even ovulate). I fear I'm going to turn into a bitter old hag :D

    Hello again fellow TTCers:wave:
    I'm officially 2 years TTC today:o

I'm hoping to get BFP by November this year simply because my digi expires this Nov:money: I'm pretty sure it'll work for few months afterwords but why take the risk:p

I O'd today, so we sorta "BD'd" - Im officially in the 2ww.

Now my question is this - how soon after you Ovulate, is you period expected to start / when do you test? Last month I tested at about 10dpo, and then didnt test again until AF arrived, as I just expected her too.............
You should test at 14DPO. Would you like to be listed on the testing list for Mon 20th?
    Good luck:j

I am hoping that emsbet may be right and that AF may not be far away as I have had EWCM this weekend (sorry if TMI :D).
    AF or something beany:cool:
Oh yes forgot to say I ordered a BBT from amazon and got 10 free OPK and tests....not quite sure what to do with the OPK sticks tho...think I need to read up on this. Prob best waiting until my second cycle I guess xxxx
Second cycle sounds good. Perhaps from when you start getting cm:)

However I just choose to skim over the horrible comments and focus on the nice ones! :)
    Good policy:cool:
As far as news from me goes, not much to report. Still awaiting ov, but I think its imminent as had temp drop this morning and ewcm. However, no BD-ing (DH still has thrush) :( Can't believe it's going to be yet another month that goes by...and this time without even a chance.
I hate that too. I'm getting ewcm now with no DH, but going through it with your DH must be even worse:(

Hi, Just started ttc for 2nd child, have a 4 yr old son & he took 8 yrs to conceive so I may be here a while! Keeping my fingers crossed that it's a bit quicker this time :)
    Welcome roverbabe:wave:
Would you like to be listed on the first page?
Would something like this be OK?

    roverbabe (age? not compulsory:p) TTC#2 since 06/11

Hope you'll get your 2nd baby quickly:)

I didn't do that and have no idea on temps & such, will look into that, thanks - I'm pretty clued up on my cycle and am quite regular. We do both have fertility issues though, he has a low sperm count and I don't ovulate every month. Apologies if this is TMI
If you think that's TMI, wait 'till someone describes their cm (cervical mucous):D

She bascially talked about chemical pregnancies, which I already know about, and said that if I get a heavy period between now and my appointment to give her a call.
    Sooooo I guess it's just a waiting game now - it's going to be a long 10 days. :o
Here's some sticky baby dust for you:

My name's Jen and hubs and I have been ttc since Christmas 2009. We already have a small boy who is nearly 4, and in July 2010 I fell pregnant again but mc'd at 7 weeks.
    Welcome feelingstressed:wave:
Would you like to be listed on the first page?

    feelingstressed (age? not compulsory:p) TTC#2 since 12/09 (mc 08/10)
I fell with DS within the first 6 weeks, and I think I've found it much harder this time because it hasn't 'just happened' - I think DH is a bit upset about it as he was convinced he was a one-hit wonder!! :rotfl:
I fell on the first cycle too, but lost it and it's been ages now with no hint of a BFP:o
Hope your nosebleed is a sign:o
I've read a few of the nastier comments but am choosing to ignore and concentrate on the lovely ladies here and all of the positivity :)
    Good choice:cool:

Would you like to be listed on the first page too?
Would something like this be OK?

Nothern Girlie (age? not compulsory:p) TTC#1 since ?

I'm not confident this month, I've been having twingy type pains off and on since yesterday, I have to say more yesterday then today but my usual pattern of AF is crampy abdo pains four days before so we shall see. I was also getting a very very slight clear nipple discharge yesterday, not really sure what to make of that as I've never experienced that before. My boobies are quite sore and I feel bloated, maybe that big sarnie at dinner time didn't help lol
    Sounds good, keep it up:p
Just a quick update (I was a newbie to this a few pages back).

I've been spotting now for about a week, thought it might be AF early / implantation, now still as mixed up as ever....
Whereabouts in the cycle are you? Fingers crossed:)
