Just a quick update (I was a newbie to this a few pages back).

I've been spotting now for about a week, thought it might be AF early / implantation, now still as mixed up as ever....

Went to see Take That last night (not really my cup of tea but they were amazing) and was convinced that I'd be taking the Witch along for the ride. That didn't happen but was so bloated I looked Pg, so annoyed with my stupid body.

AF still not here properly, but not thinking anything good is happening and definately not testing at any point soon.

Thank you for all the welcomes.

    Congratulations to all the BFP's.

I know this is a bit of an odd question and a bit out of the blue but....

Is anyone else trying to have their first baby with a husband/partner who already has a child or children from a previous relationship?

Yup............me!! We have a 3 year old at home with us!

Me - my OH has a child from a previous relationship altho she is now in her teens

I know it's silly and irrational and to be honest I don't even really know how to put my thoughts into words but.....

Sometimes I feel a bit upset at the thought of Hubby and I having trouble having kids when he has two from two previous relationships and neither of them were planned. We've done everything the right way (getting married which I know isn't for everyone and I'm not for one minute suggesting you need to be married to have children) and I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I sometimes feel a bit eugh thinking we might not be successful.

Sorry that was a complete waffle.

i understand you completely - me and OH have been together 12 years his child wasnt planned either and it has been difficult over the years - OH was stopped for 5 years seeing his daughter and that has mentally scarred him and thats why we have waited so long for our own.....we're not married but i dont think that makes a difference to us now maybe we will one day but thats a different thread. i keep blaming myself

i do find it difficult being the 'step' parent when i havent got my own children
