I thought cbfm and a positive (two lines) on opk were the same thing (i,.e., that you were ov'ing)? Temping as far as I know takes days of comparison rather than a single temp though I haven't been doing it long so could be wrong.

I got a peak today!! After 8 days of highs. I'm not going to bother to use any more sticks as I know i'll get another peak then high then lows. Madbird I thought a temp rise was indicitive of ovulation having already occurred? But if cbfm says high you should still be fertile.
Good luck!
QQ, neither of us have very strong drives but am very determined this month as it's the 1st time using cbfm and I think I'm ovulating from my right side (if the pain is anything to go by) which is the side I still have a tube so we're doing as much as we can!!
Hope the cough goes soon wonder womble, and fingers crossed the expectorant works too!

Just delurking to say hi everyone and that I'm still here
Have had flu and now got a lung infection so there's not been much bding as I've been too icky.
Did have AF last week but it wasn't anything like it normally is, didn't have any of the normal systoms and I've been wondering if it's cause I'm ill or something else (probably wishful thinking)
do I test, do I not?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -
Well I can definitely start using my CBFM this month
. Was hoping I wouldn't need to but I suppose I am kind of excited about using it. I have no idea what to do though, maybe I should read the booklet again...
And if next month doesn't result in a BFP I will be joining team sticky. In fact maybe I'll just buy some for this month, especially after madbirds recommendation! (I'm off to look on amazon now)0 -
