Jen151, you are supposed to use FMU (first morning urine) as it is more concentrated.
Test tomorrow morning? How many DPO are you?

thanks for the tip QQ! will make sure and test in the morning next time. whats DPO.... days per ovulation?! have to admit a bit clueless about the science of all this! been wondering what AF means too, something to do with ur time of the month right but i just cant work out what it stands for

I would do another test tomorrow morning with FMU (first morning urine) if no sign of AF (Aunt Flo - period). DPO is days post/ past ovulation.

    Good luck for tomorrow!
  • Evening everyone,

Nothing much to report, DYING to test but have resisted so far, IC's didn't come today so maybe tommorrow..

DS has been good as gold, Slept at lunch no problems at all, Just the same as usual! Then climbed into his bed no bother tonight and didn't get up at all. I'm so relieved! Hoping it lasts!!

Just been to aquafit and for a swim, didn't make it this afternoon so went tonight instead, OH has been in bed since 6.30!!! He gets up at 4.45 for work everyday so is shattered today as has just worked 5 days. At least this way he will be up at a reasonable hour tomorrow.

Well off to bed to read trashy magazines, SBDTA xxx

re OPKs...can you get overly sensitive ones IYKWIM. Mine aren't exactly cheap, they are Tescos but I seem to get a better idea on those, well this month anyway...QQ any ideas?
Yes, some are more sensitive than others. Some people get positive for a lot of the time, so they buy less sensitive ones which will only give you positive when it should.

    negative test :(
Perhaps last week's AF was a AF. Don't know why it was so light, could have been because you didn't ovulate last cycle?

It does depend on no. of DPO. I tested at 8 = BFN, 10 = BFP

Hope it changes and you're just too early :)

haven't tested this morning, slept in then it was a rush for work. still no AF tho! what is going on. am pretty sure not PG as the lack of line in yesterdays test was just so apparant staring me in the face with its pure whiteness. also, felt a bit pmt last nite. if nothing happens by tonight though will likely test 2mo or sat morning first thing.

There's a link with abbreviations on the first page.

    The most common ones are:

CD - Cycle date (CD1 is the 1st day of period)
DPO - Days past ovulation (if ovulation was on CD15, then that is 0DPO, CD16 is 1DPO)
    OV - ovulation
IC - Internet cheapie (IC OPKs, hpts)
    OPK - ovulation predictor kits
    SS - symptom spotting
BD - Baby dance (making babies)
    AF - Aunt Flo (period)
    CBFM - Clearblue fertility monitor
    Temp - temperature (BBT)
SBDTA - Sticky baby dust to all

    Nothing, absolutely nothing:(

I've been ttc since June last year, so since June this year, I've been going to a fertility specialist. I was prescribed Clomid but it didn't work this cycle (didn't ovulate), thus I'm on another tablets to bring AF on.
SO really, I'm waiting for my AF due sometime at the end of Sep, with no possibility of BFP:whistle:

More hugs to smlsave and must_try_harder x

Greener Grass, hope your little one not been up to anymore tricks!

carolineb23, yay for the peak, enjoy bd'ing:D

Debs, hope you aren't going to start ss'ing!

Jen151, good luck in morning if not tested.

Well we've just BD, cos both of us tired and didn't want to get too late before we were beyond the job in question:D. Did another OPK and still 2 equal lines. Even OH surprised how much darker second line was. On CBFM stick the second line was barely visible. If no peak tomorrow I'm going to ignore CBFM's polite request to POAS.

re OPKs...can you get overly sensitive ones IYKWIM. Mine aren't exactly cheap, they are Tescos but I seem to get a better idea on those, well this month anyway...QQ any ideas?

    xx

Moi??? I've been a perfect angel this month!!! ;)
