Other side of the world. DH works here, so I'm over here for a while seriously trying to make babies...
I can't move here as I have work in the UK, and I like it. Don't want to quit:( I'm taking some time off, and going to the fertility clinic here.

I had a scan yesterday, and the egg are no go (Clomid did the opposite), so this cycle is cancelled. Am taking drugs to induce AF, so will get AF in 9 days time. Next cycle, I'm going to be injecting stuff to myself so fingers crossed ov will come:j

    I'm back and forth...

Some get BFP at 7DPO... But they may have got their ov dates wrong to begin with;)

Aww hun your having a heck of a time of it!!! I didn't realise just how complicated things were for you and I'm sorry for my ignorance!!! :o

I do hope that they have a really good fertility clinic over there to help you out!!!

And it must be hard to have DH so far away all the time when you need him!!! :(

The fertility clinic I chose is supposed to be the best here, and the doctor studied at the Charing Cross Hospital (London), and is not very old (I'd say late 40s, early 50s), so the care should be similar to the UK:cool:

Although I have been ttc since June 2009, we haven't been ttcing for long:

June-Aug 09 Pg but mc mid Aug.
    ***Took 3 months off ttc.***
    Dec 09-Jan 10 restarted ttc.
***DH went abroad, no BDing Feb-April***
BD once in May but missed ov by 8 days
***June, cycle cancelled to induce AF (1st app with fertility clinic)***
July, could not BD on the days suggested by the doctor, only a day out but BFN
August, BD once on ov day, amazingly small deposit from DH, BFN.
***Sept cycle cancelled because Clomid failed.***

One way to keep excitement alive on long haul ttc:o

Just wanted to ask if anyone’s OH had ‘trouble’ in the bedroom if you know what I mean? We have had recently (so much for being newly married!) and OH thought it was his medication for acid reflux but it turns out today that this was one of the symptoms of diabetes (which I knew, just didn’t expect for at least another 10 years). I feel devastated even though he’s got ‘”pills” for it.

Skint Catt, my DH has problems making the deposit sometimes. He doesn't take medications apart from vitamins, so it must be psychological. We are thinking of getting V i a g r a, in the hopes it will help him finish the job on important days.
  • Yup whoever asked earlier. The tesco PG tests are £3 for 1 or 2. Bit weird if you ask me but both myself and FF got our BFP's on ours last month. FF was an early tester I do believe too.

I don't know why but I feel really good for you guys this month. I've got a feeling there are going to be a couple more BFP's for our regulars. Sending lots of sticky baby dust your way! :)

As always... lurking waiting for QQ to get her BFP!!! It's coming! I can feel it in my water! :D

Thanks - I'm guessing that's the "pills" OH has but I haven't been home yet. I've always had a higher drive than OH so it's taken me 4 years to get used to the fact that it's never going to be more than 1 week/fortnight at best but now I just feel I'm mourning my sex life at 33 years old!
I want to be supportive but I'm just gutted.

I never had much of a drive, so don't miss BDing. If we were not ttcing, then DH would have been an ideal husband:o

Yep, my BFP was on a Tesco at 10DPO but had a BFN at 8DPO with an IC.;)
On the V to the iagra... Tesco will be doing 8 for the price of 4 they charge in Boots....very MSE! :T

I reckon there's gonna be at least 1 BFP here from what I've been reading but no point SSing....I don't even have any now! :p
  • Yep I found the Tesco tests good too, mind you I'd had am implantation bleed and thought I'd got af so didn't test until 21dpo! Still on high on the cbfm, thats days 8 through 14 now. Still, it's the 1st month using it, although I was really hoping to get a peak this month. Just hoping all the ttc stress isn't delaying it, been bding on all my high days as I don't want to give myself something to be cross about if this month isn't the month! SBDTA.
