Atbb fingers crossed that the going away to Mexico will help with the conception - I've heard that you're more likely to conceive on holiday as you're more relaxed. Congratulations on your anniversary too.
fannyanna I hope that it's not AF on her way - sending her go away vibes for you!Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

I'm 8DPO

It would be too early for any baby related symptoms so I guess it's either in my head (which I think is the more likely explanation) or I'm going to have a period.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

evening
hugs to all that af has got. i was not to fussed to see mine, I have a hen night next week so no need to make up excuses for not drinking and no chance of feeling sick for the wedding which we have been talking about for over a year so don't want anything to spoil it! plus we got a new sofa today which we had to pick up a sofa so no worrying about lifting etc.
plus i am now getting to enjoy a rather yummy raspberry beer!Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0 -
Well done on your 3 eggs QQ :j
Got everything crossed for you :cool:0 -
Well I've been feeling pretty miserable and stupidly emotional the last few days
I'm 8DPO (if I did actually ovulate and didn't just have a surge) and I'm trying to work out whether the senstions (slight cramps but not enough to call pains) are anything baby related or completely in my head.
I'm also contemplating the fact that I could have a period lined up - which for me is a huge thing as the last time that happened was at least 8 months ago (and even then I'm not sure you could class it as natural as I was on the mini pill). Although I never really got pre-period symptoms - just some aches when I was actually having my period - so I'm not really sure if it's likely.
I've also had slightly sore (once again not really even sore but I guess slightly sensitive) boobs.

Whatever it is I'm a grumpy moo
((hugs)) fannyanna. It's the uncertainty that's the worst isn't it?!
I'm feeling a tad fed up myself, still no AF and still a BFN when I tested today. I was on the pill (microgynon) for 10+ years. I stopped taking it near the end of last month. AF arrived 31st (CD 31 - thanks for keeping track QQ
) - which was most likely the usual withdrawal bleed (although it was heavier and longer than usual). I have no idea if I even ov. I guess all I can do is wait.
A couple of questions:
~ Did any of you ladies take the pill for a long while? If so how long did it take for you to start having regular(ish) cycles?
~ Is it possible that you can still ov without having periods?
~ Does anybody know if there is anything I can take (without waiting a year and going to doctors) that I can take to give my cycle a kick start?
I know it's still early days but I don't want to sit around and wait and see - it's not me, I need to be proactive and do something.
Sorry for going on

hi everyone, sorry I've been awol for a couple of days - have been in a bit of a funk, truth be told, so haven't really been in the mood to contribute!
went to a couple of royal wedding parties yesterday, which was nice - although I was driving so couldn't take advantage of AF and drink! loved the wedding though - thought Kate looked gorgeous and the whole thing was quite emotional! Was lovely to see the two of them looking like they actually love each other!
Brilliant news QQ re your little eggies. I hope with all my heart that at least one of them sticks! xx
Isn't it great to be 2 days into the weekend and still have 2 whole days left?! I'm off sailing tomorrow, hope it's a nice day!

sorry if i miss anything here - i'm on my phone which takes ages and is a major pain.
Firstly hugs to all those who got AF and welcome to the newbies. Secondly, congratulations seafarers wife, and thanks.
BB1984 - people don't believe me when I say it didn't hurt. I'm a major wimp but they freeze them so it was ok. Sorry about AF. This is our 32nd month of trying and we're both under 30 and all tests say we're fine and still nothing and I expected a whole family of kids by now. It's just crap but nothing we can do but keep trying. At least I'm getting to bd loads. I'm going to start sniffing penises just in case that helps though.
Happy birthday bigzippy :-)
Divorcingjack - i love the idea of coloured shoes (or what about gold or silver?) cos you can wear them again. Much more sentimental (and moneysaving) than ivory ones that live in a box in the loft forever more. You could always get a different more comfy pair for the evening but that might be my 'any excuse for another pair of shoes' mentality.
Euro - it sounds like queens day is great fun!
Go QQ with your excellent quality embryo!!!
Loopylaura - that one post brought a tear to my eye. You'll join your sisters in motherhood soon enough and your child will be lucky to have so many cousins to play with.
ATBB - mexico sounds amazing! And fingers crossed it will be just what you need to get you both relaxed and
get that BFP.
Tinksy - I lurve raspberry beer. I want one!
Nothing to report here. No symptoms or anything and still a while until AF is due.

Hiya.
I was on Microgynon for 2 years, with 3 years of Ovanette before that, and 18 months of ovranette after. I took my last pill early September 10, and to recollection, had my first period about in line with my normal "pill cycle", but a bit shorter, and then they carried on at about the same interval but gradually getting heavier and longer. I wanted to track my cycle whilst giving my body time to get clear of the pill so I started tracking my cycle in November using OPK's, with intention of starting TTC in April. I started checking using the standard Luteal phase, but just got negatives on OPK, so started checking earlier and later, and eventually started getting faint lines on the Opk's, so i knew roughly when i was close to OV. Despite checking up to 3 times a day, i never got a full +ve, so went with my best results as my OV dates.
I was worried that i wasnt actually ovulating, not getting the full line, but as i'm now 6+1, after BD'ing just on my two most fertile days in april, i guess i was alright after all!
I started on pregnacare plus in October, and Agnus castus in about December. The agnus castus is what i used to regulate my cycle, so give that a go, and the pregnacare plus has lots of other good stuff that helps too!
