CPW phones - certainly the contract ones - are unlocked. This also goes for their subsidiaries and partner firms (mobiles.co.uk etc). I don't know about PAYG, though, and I would imagine the iPhone is locked but, again, I'm not sure.

theyve jsut rang back wont give me the galaxy s for anything cheaper than 40 a month even though i said i found it elsewhere for 27.50 so might go with p4u if i can find out if they sell them unlocked

sorry didnt update thanks for all the info ended up getting a new contract for oh on orange they wouldnt give it to me for free on an upgrade- ridiculous really so i took out a new contract-its a great phone and i want one myself now!
