  • I'd expect at least a Desire for that price and if a Wildfire is their opening offer then that's what I'd be pushing for. Also, if you're happy with the 3GS then I'd push them to see what deals they have on a 4.

thanks exhortation-they just bombard you dont they when theyre trying to sell something

i did say is that the only phone u have for free she said no but this is the best one-and the iphone 4 would only be free on a 40 pounds tariff

dont think shes doing me any special deals maybe i should ring retentions myself as cpw rang me

You would need to push quite hard but you might get the Galaxy S which is much better than the Wildfire, the Wildfire is going to be out as a pay as you go handset shortly and is not a premium handset like the Galaxy.
Also because you are with Orange you are not tied to CPW, Phones 4 U or Orange direct can do your upgrade for you.

In fact checking out P4U website they are doing the Galaxy S for £27.50 on an 18 month contract thats on new contracts but I think they can do the same for upgrades if you call them.

No1 son has just had an upgrade (P4U). £25. 18m. 300m, 3000 txt, 500MB, HTC Desire. Says this phone is much much better than his old iPhone and mine (3GS).
I have to say - it does look nice, very slim. GPS on it is quite amazing! Links to contacts on facebook too.

  • Sometimes it's worth just taking a wander along your local high street. I was back in my home town recently and all the phone shops had "Manager's Specials" boards outside.
