Although if I ever said to H2B after he bought me something "How dare you put something that ugly in front of me" he would never buy me anything ever again!!

I'd have been force fed the things if I said that, and my parents would probably help him:rotfl:
I imagine bbc3 are trying to make this seem more extreme to keep it fresh and entertaining, you wouldn't tune in each week if the groom was perfect and considerate and the bride was laid back and not bothered.
I keep thinking we should have applied but I think if OH had 12k and a team of people saying 'what about this what about that' then he would get way too distracted and probably end up being shown in a bad way.
I can't believe that she couldn't see that he had been quite considerate buying two pairs of shoes so that she had a comfy pair. I think she was pretty spoilt, telling him to stop singing when they were dancing.
Next weeks looks good

If that was all that was said i'd agree. Unfortuantely it wasn't. In my world telling a stranger they need a slap certainly isn't basic etiquette.
Oh and the ironic part was someone saying that if you can't say anything nice at all, don't say anything, about the bride on a thread full of people saying not so nice things.
I guess it's kind of ironic!
I think in some situations I'd be willing to tell a stranger they needed a slap, it's better than giving them one. lol! But in seriousness, it's not something I'd say, but I can understand it's just a way of expressing frustration at that persons behaviour, and hopefully not meant literally.
My point simply was that I don't like the fact someone comes along and calls everyone in a thread names no matter what they've actually posted. If you have an issue with certain posts or comments fair enough, but don't go calling the rest of us names.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

I would agree, my post had nothing to do with that though.0
