  • thanks steph thats what i think i would do. They go on and say ive always wanted to get married here - why havent you ever told the person you wanna get married to this? dont get me wrong we contemplated going on it and decided not to cause i dont think my oh would me mature enough or think of everything but i think he would atleast get it roughly right.

Back to the show what about the 2 grand stag do a week before the wedding and before invitations went out!!!!!! That stressed me out! it was funny when the bride went i wouldnt let the best man take hubby to be out of the country when he already was. I think she was just very imature. Im 20 and 2bh dont think im to young to get married but i am so mature for my age with the whole got a mortgage n responsibilities thing. That bride was just so childish!

think i may have over used the !!!!!'s lol

Wouldn't you just tell your OH what you wanted and where you wanted it and what the dress was and what size ect ect

    I would!

    Steph xx

Absolutely I would too! He'd have secret written instructions!! My OH just said he would do it no problem.... he'd pay someone £2000 to organise everything out of the money & then chill out for 3 weeks of peace from me!! Cheek of him!!

;36040267]A lesson many on this thread can learn from, ironic really that those who deem themselves grown enough to be wed, can't wait to get their claws out on a 'child'.

And no i've not been on the show nor am i friends with the bride before someone decides that would be the only reason someone doesn't like people trashing another person.[/QUOTE]

My remarks were directed specifically at a person who decided to call everyone posting in the thread names no mater what we had actually written.

TV works in the same way a forum does. If you don't want people to comment on what you say and do, don't do it in public. Hence why we all have the right to voice our opinions and the contents of a TV program we watched.

I don't think it's ironic to point out that someone who is an adult was acting like a child. It doesn't make the person commenting on it any more childish or grown up. It also doesn't make us right or wrong, it just shows that the majority of us adhere to the same social standards of behaviour, and ideas of basic etiquette regarding marriage (and not just weddings) and how you act in public.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

To be honest I think she just got married for the day. I don't think for one minute she got married because she loves him calling him Knob head thats nice when he's trying to do something nice demanding NEW SHOES NOW throwing them around in a bridal shop she's lucky that she didn't get kicked out I would of kicked her out.

She has had far too much backside kissing of being called princess when she's nothing but a common little mare.

When the vintage car turned up thats not a horse and carrige. She is the most ungreatful little turd I have ever seen!

If that was all that was said i'd agree. Unfortuantely it wasn't. In my world telling a stranger they need a slap certainly isn't basic etiquette.

Oh and the ironic part was someone saying that if you can't say anything nice at all, don't say anything, about the bride on a thread full of people saying not so nice things.

I thought the groom had some cheek, sending his bride to Blackpool, before jetting off to Prague with his mates!!

Not like I don't like Blackpool, I'm having my hen night there, but 2k on a stag night's a bit much!

I know her strop about the shoes was terrible - but mainly everyone's problems were of the things she says. As she gets older she will learn to close her mouth. But before everyone talks about how lovely the groom was comparably let's remember

    * He took 5 days out of 21 days of wedding planning for a stag do!
    * And a SIXTH of their wedding budget
    * He went and saw strippers knowing how much it would upset her
    * He wanted to make her feel like crap before the wedding by putting her on a BOAT when she's petrified
    * He went off on his stag without completing the invitations (so he only had 1 week to invite most of the wedding guests!)
    * 1 mate, a crappy volvo and a cheapo B&B for a night or two in Blackpool was all he gave the hens - when he got flights, activities, good accommodation and even a party bus!!! (And strippers!)

I'm not saying he wasn't lovely and that she wasn't a b*tch but actually, for me - his actions spoke louder than her words.

Although if I ever said to H2B after he bought me something "How dare you put something that ugly in front of me" he would never buy me anything ever again!! :D
    I love surprises!

I think they were both as bad and immature as each other.

If the first thing on my OH's mind would have been to wind me up, then what's the point in us getting married?!

A couple is meant to respect each other ~ not a lot of respect in that relationship was there?

Me and the ex were a bit like that, but then again I was 17 when I let him, he was 8 years older, and that's one of the reasons we never got married (even though we were engaged), we just weren't mature enough!

And I agree with whoever said this girl just wanted a wedding as she didn't take anything seriously at all and didn't seem to have any emotions about it, other than foot stamping and a big titty lip when she didn't get what she wanted.
