Me and OH watched it last night and I think that the groom made a great choice with the dress. I quite liked the silver shoes but defo not the white ones, and unfortunately I missed the replacements.
I kept joking that we should have a bash at that show and OH could organise everything for me but that didn't go down too well!!! He wouldn't even pick me out a top to wear one night when I asked him to find me something as I couldn't decide and all I got was "No way am I getting into that and being accused of trying to tell you what to wear". He has got a point:rotfl:
she looked amazing in that dress .. i always get reduced to tears when it turns out ok .

im slightly concerened about next weeks willy wonka weddng

    Well said kitschkitty!

JoolzS - My mum brought us up with: just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't like it - and if I'm honest she has always said if you haven't got something nice to say don't say it at all!

A lesson many on this thread can learn from, ironic really that those who deem themselves grown enough to be wed, can't wait to get their claws out on a 'child'.

And no i've not been on the show nor am i friends with the bride before someone decides that would be the only reason someone doesn't like people trashing another person.

I would never ever EVER have said anything like that, I'm not selfish, I'm not immature and I'm not ungreatful ~ so calling her OH a 'nob' because he sent her a rose, was that bit not real was it? Was that an intelligent thing to say?

And perhaps they edited out the bit where she told him she hates roses? He would have been a nob to go ahead and buy one anyway.

It doesn't matter how old she is, she is old enough to get married and she is a brat.

He would have been even more of a nob then as she had roses in her bouquet ;)

Wouldn't you just tell your OH what you wanted and where you wanted it and what the dress was and what size ect ect

    I would!

  • That episode was probably the best one I've ever seen because it was so ridiculous. Yup I have a sick sense of humour! No one has mentioned the friend who asked; 'Where's Eastern Europe?' That one still has me in stitches! I'm sure it was all overdramatised for our entertainment but the girl did say those things and there was a strong sense that she was in it for the sake of a fairytale event rather than a marriage. I can't believe she was allowed to film inside a church when she said; 'I'm not Holy I just think Churches are pretty.' That makes a mockery of religious ceremonies as far as I'm concerned and I just think the guy will be gutted when he watches the programme himself to see how much she slated everything he did.
