I made my female friends and relatives fabric corsages like these http://blairpeter.typepad.com/weblog/2006/05/simple_corsage_.html
last year. I used fabric from my scrap bag and some I bought from ebay. I tried to use colours that would match clothing / bags they had. They went down really well as they are fashionable at the moment. I've been getting requests to make them for people all year.
How did you make them???

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place so please move it if it's not.

A company called YELLOW MOON are having a sale, I've had a quick look on the site and there seems to be quite alot of things that might interest people who make their own cards or do scrap booking - lots of Christmasy bits. This is the site : www.yellowmoon.org.uk

It's a company that my daughter's junior school using, I think the schools who are registered gets a percentage of the money you spend.

Feedumall, I would love to know how long it takes you to make the double bedspreads. I'd love to make one (or more) but feel that I would get bored if they take too long?
  • Last year I made up gift baskets , petal dolls, bath fizzers, chocolate brazils, turkish delight, knitted toys, bedsocks, gloves hats and scarves, heat pads, and all sorts of other stuff and everyone appreciated the gifts because as one friend said "you can't buy the love and care that goes into a handmade present" so guess what I'm doing the same again this year!

They look lovely... If you don't mind me pinching your idea, how did you manage those? I think the girls would adore them!
