Oo this could be an interesting thread. I didn’t know it existed. Yes, I do sometimes give handmade gifts. I knit and so always give something knitted as a gift for newborns. My granddaughters, in particular, put in their orders, but sometimes I knit them something to give on birthdays and Christmas as well as some money.
One of my sons partner makes candles and they are lovely. I’m quite happy to have them as a present. He is very good at making homemade chocolates but I’m not into sweet stuff but I’m sure other people are.1
