Huge Hugs Iris.
I will be a Katsu-no-ra as I am so sad for you.
Hopefully the stupid person will trip over their feet this weekend and have to walk around with a big bruise on their face and look silly. That will save us bopping them one on the nose!Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
That is a joke. They took the mick when I moved here, because they tried to save money paying less for a late removal slot and didn't move out the house till nearly 9pm. I was so peeved, but even more so if I had kids involved and being mucked around. Hugs xxxx0

Thanks guys.
It's just a chain of 3. My buyer who isn't moving in, us and the people we are buying off who are selling and not buying again. They've moved out now so it only affects us.
We're all sleeping on the floor and have no settee to sit on as all the furniture is in the lounge and it's not furniture you can move easily as it's proper solid wood wardrobes etc.
I feel o.k about it but obviously it's affecting me as I'm awake at 3.55, having woke up with a bad back from sleeping on the floor.
The good news is that we got a call last night at 6:30ish from my solicitor to say that we had exchanged. That means that we can get the van and load it on Monday and then wait for the money to go over. So we are moving Monday.
I've lost £100 in all which as you all know is a lot of money. I had to pay for the van £65, £5 fuel and just under £30 in daily interest for my mortgage here. I know I would have to pay double the interest on the new mortgage but it's the fact I now have to pay this in real money to my solicitor.
If I had to do it all again which no doubt I will, I'd make sure I had more money saved up. Looking back the house was marketed when baby blue was born and I knew then it would be tight as we were just getting back on our feet after the redundancy and paying off all the CC's. . I'm thankful that we went for the sensible option with this house and didn't go for the dream waterfall house even though it would have "only" cost us 34k more. Don't get me wrong I like this house and it WILL be very nice ...we just have to get in there first.
It felt good seeing it yesterday empty , it felt like it was going to be a happy house. I met the owner there to discuss what had gone on as she had just moved out and was on her way to dropping the keys off at the Ea's for me when she got the call to say it wasn't going ahead. She gave me a set of keys so I could go round today and see if there was any mail. So at least we can have another look at it today...so near and yet so far.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0
