    No nothing !

Although now Im wondering if I should try and shove him up a little bit and weld him in! :rotfl:

A midwife is on shift that I'm not keen on from today until Monday morning. Theres only 3 midwives in my area, the 1st mw I wanted has gone on holiday until monday (she did this to me last year as well! How inconsiderate! :D ) and the other mw is on rest days until Tuesday leaving this one that I haven't clicked with. She was around when I had the other children 13 years ago so it's not like I haven't given it time to get to know her before you say it! :rotfl:

She's ok, I just don't feel all that comfortable with her.I normally get on with everybody as I'm so chatty.

So the dilemma is ..If I go into labour do I..?

    1. Put up and shut up!
    2. Stop moaning, swallow my pride and ring her at the last minute , give birth to Baby Blue then get rid of her as fast as I can.
    3. Go to hospital at last minute, pop baby blue out and come home.

I think I'm with number 2 at the moment

    Life is soooo complicated! :)

I'm feeling exhausted again today and have no energy at all. I've ate for England, 2 pies, 2 toast, a mars bar and a toffee crisp and some of DD's milky bar buttons and now I feel like a piggy! I know I AM a piggy! :rotfl: ... Anyway it's not helped at all as now I feel sick !

Cath - I've never heard a labour described as FAB before - that's really nice to hear. There's hope for me yet

Jo - Epidural s sound like they take the pain away instantly..which is good. I've only ever had G&A and it doesn't really do much but I like the Hannibal mask. I use it as a distraction. ( the gas not the mask!)

Just hid the evidence of the pies so feeling better already. :) Opened a lucozade which I had in my "just in case I go into hospital bag" so I'll see if that picks me up.

I forgot to say that I've bought a few items today, online of course.

M&S has 20% off kitchen items so I bought my much longed for delonghi Icona kettle and 4 slice toaster in black which we are picking up from the store to save on delivery ( I'll get the half price Xmas cake whilst Im there yum yum ) plus I got cashback. All in all we saved : £41 ..spent £100. Our kettle leaks slightly and our 4 slice toaster only has 2 that work so it's not like we didn't need them, but I'll continue to use them and put the new ones away for the new house.

Plus bought Robin Hood on dvd for my dad for Christmas £9.99 and got 80p cashback.

I love shopping on line , so much easier than the shops!

    Hi Iris,

What a shame about the midwife that is covering the weekend. Honestly my labour was fine! Got to 4cm without realising, 8cm without pain relief and then only painful for 2 hours!

Is it curry night again for you?

My quickest labour was about 40mins I suppose it was fab at the time. I should get into the frame of mind of remembering how it was and not focus on the pain so much.

Yes curry night tonight, We was going to Asda for one but I think it'll be a takeaway so I don't have to wash / tidy afterwards. I'm too tired.

Vindaloo curry for the Blue family tonight, to get things moving along swiftly!!

Bets are on now for contractions to start the minute the un-wanted MW finishes her shift on Monday!!

I think I need to log my Op's before I lose track of them. Only little ones but it all helps.

    Penny Jar : £4.55
    Refund MR T's : £6.58
    Fatch88se: £1.81
    H/f Reward £10
    TCB : £7.07
    Interest : 0.62p
    Pinec8ne: £3.00

    total £33.63

Total OP's for month so far : £33.63. Bah!:o But then again I have had my mind on other things.

    Total since I started Op ing in August : 388.17+523.17+33.63 = £944.97 :j

Total since I started my mini challagne in September (as per signature) £523.17+33.63 = £556.80

Thanks Jo ! :) Sounds like heaven that.

Nothing to report here, wouldn't mind tomorrow with it being a "cool birthdate" of 10/10/10 !

We didn't have a curry in the end, opted for a sweet and sour ...it didn't work! :)

Are you sure you've not just been eating a lot ;).

    Good luck for tomorrow :)
