Hi,

I've just bought a new radio online thinking that I could just plug it in, and it's now asking me for a code!

I have emailed the seller but they are asking for more money for the code, which I won' t pay on principle!

It's an RCD 300 and the van is a 2006 VW Caddy.

The serial number is: VWZ1Z295375930

Thanks for this, I will try it if/when the circumstance occurs. I am just trying to get ahead of the game, knowing I don't have the code written on any of my paperwork and having had a battery warning (gone away after a 200 mile journey).
