Car Radio Unlocking

Hello
My 16 year old radio/cassette has gone Kapput.
Bought a used identical unit which the seller said the code was marked on it well guess what wrong code.

Please can anyone help me out with the code.

Its a Philips made r/c serial No. PHF011X4095417.

The robbing ford dealer was gonna charge me £25 for this service!

Tip for all other ford 500 RDS EON owners: I was going to take the radio housing apart to find the serial number but after a bit of research on the web I found I just needed to press numbers 2 and 6 at the same time to retrieve my serial number on the display.

Can anyone help me with the code for my Astra? I have a Delco CDR 500. The number on the back of the controls is GM 90 493 281 - is this the serial number that is required, or is there another serial number somewhere else on the main body of the stereo?

Your code VDO will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet.

I have a nissan micra 2005. I dont have the code for the radio and after getting my battery changed, it now needs one to function. I have the serial number and parts number if anyone can help pretty please?

Nissan would charge me £30 to do this!!!
