Your references will be found on the metal box labeled with the radio.
Sometimes based on 2 and 6 or 1 and 6 at the same time

Hi all,

Had my battery changed on my 2004 Ford Mondeo. No problem I thought, I have the key code. The serial number was M018783 and the key code was 2548. 3 failed attempts in I'm wondering if the keycode security sticker belongs to one of many other fords I've owned over the years. Without removing the unit (yet) I tried holding the 1 and 6 keys simultaneously and got a series of displays including the following:

FDD2004M104695

I'm guessing that the serial number is actually M104695. Does anyone have the code for this?
