Can anyone tell me the best (cheapest/ most reliable) place to get a code if the serial number (on my Ka) starts with V?

Does it have to be an actual Ford garage?

    Cheers

Hi, can anyone help. My father has an old Volvo S40 XS (W REG) and he has locked the radio out due to a change of the old battery.

Its a cd, radio & cassette player

This is the info I got from the unit on examination...

    Model SC805 -2f
    SN. V01590 X161E061F

I hope someone can help, it will get me in my dads good books and I would really appreciate any guidance.
