hi, was in work today, battery went on van, then radio needs code. serial number M407649 FORD TRANSIT

anyone any idea how to get it?? many thanks

hi all just been given a VDO 500 cd player for my 2001 astra but with no code just rang up vauxhall and they want £25 for this was wondering if anyone had anything they could find this code with for me i would be extremely gratefull
heres everything thats on the casing..

I did the stupid thing of disconnecting the battery and do not have a code for my radio, could someone please get this for me?

The numbers on the radio cassette are GM020328239868
and 09 0115095
and 7 649 200 321

Its boring in the car to work and cant afford new one till next months pay

Any help would be appreciated :j

VDO codes are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet

Try your Main Dealer, a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop ( who will normally be the cheapest option)

I have just bought a Rover 75 and the stereo is locked. It's looking for a 4 digit code and the seriel number is:-

RG745WX1015303

It's a Phillips, other numbers on the barcode are:-

9022 217 45609 00
003 9926 1015303

Any help would be most appreciated.

I have the code for a new radio (3148). Philips 400 car. But can't get it to work as i think i am not entering it correctly. Tell me if i am getting it wrong:

ignition on
hold down AS button
Radio on
Release AS button
press '1' 3 times..... '2' once....'3' 4 times and '4' 8 times
Press AS

I don't have a display on this radio.. had a 'beep' when i tried it the second time but still doesn't work.

Any ideas?
