Car Radio Unlocking

i have a rover 75 which is displaying `code ----`

Checked the back of the stereo its a philips with two serial numbers

rg745wx103057j (last digit is j or a 1, can quite tell so ive put a j)

Would anyone be able to help with a radio code for a Blaupunkt stereo from a Vauxhall Zafira, as the battery went flat and have all info bar the radio code card.

It's a Blaupunkt Car 300 and i think the serial number is GM030MY5787936.

The other numbers on the case are 90533422 and 7649852520 if that helps.

I tried calling a couple of freindly Vauxhall dealers, but were going to charge.

So I suggest you pick the best of the three radio's and resubmit your request.

That is the correct code for the Serial Number quoted.

Check the Serial Number again.
Check that you are entering it correctly.
Make sure your radio is not semi locked diue to previous wrong codes being entered.

If all OK , then it looks like your radio has been recoded to a completely different number.
A vist to a Decode Specialist is virtually the only option.

Sorry RG745WX1030571 is not in my PHILIPS database...and I don`t think you will be able to obtain it for free from anywhere on the Internet

(note: the last digit will be a 1 and not a letter j)

You are absolutely right mate and i really must give in to the idea that im getting on a bit and eyes are giving up and need a visit to the optician

I read the final number on the serial as a 9 but its in fact a an 8....heres the correct serial now if you have time to re look at it for me
