Car Radio Unlocking

Hi
I have a Ford CMAX with a CD6000 radio. I don't have the code as it's got patchy paperwork but its "m" code is:
M233905
Could anyone help me with this please?
Incidentally, I found out from another forum that if you switch the radio on, hold in button 6, and then press and hold button 1 while holding 6, the M number will appear on the screen saving you getting the special keys to extract the radio and read the M-Number on the side! It appears on the screen with some other letters and numbers in front of it, but it's there nevertheless.0 -
That method only works on the minority of models, worth a try though.boratsbrother wrote: »Hi

Rodnai/wallbash - Found the M code without taking radio out it was with some paperwork in the van. (i'm posting this on behalf of my boyf- so i've no idea how he tried it five times!?)
Maybe he tried it too many and has locked it or something0 -
molerat, that is ace. Really appreciate it. Just phoned the code through to wife who's car it is and i'm back in the good books again for a day or 2!0

NEVER trust serial numbers from the glovebox !! The radio is too easily replaced or the paperwork comes from another vehicle. If the code does not work pull the radio out and check the serial number (or try pressing 6&1, sometimes gives the serial). DO NOT keep trying the code, you have a finite number of tries before you need to put it in the bin.colazombie wrote: »Rodnai/wallbash - Found the M code without taking radio out it was with some paperwork in the van.
