Hey there, first time poster who stumbled upon this thread from google.

I SORNed my Ford Focus last year, it's battery died and got replaced as I'd like to sell it. The keycode written in the audio systems booklet isn't working, here's hoping you could assist. I've removed the radio, and the 'only' code I can find on it's casing is;

PRTB12213221C*

I've noticed it's not the same format as previous Ford requests, so I haven't got my hopes up...but thanks in advance regardless.

The radio SERIAL NUMBER beginning with M++++++ or V++++++ is required for a code

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Following battery replacment, the radio needs a code inputting and I've lost the code number.
