Can anyone help with a radio code for my Ford Puma?

Following battery replacment, the radio needs a code inputting and I've lost the code number.

The Model is a Ford 6000CD, Serial number M730668

    Thanks, Sam
I also have a 6000CD, but upon removal I can't see any number resembling M
    or V
    . Only what I have typed previously, and on 3 occasions;

    1. In marker on one side and
    2. On the top and other side, and a sticker reading:
    Re-coded by
    Premier Re-codes
    Car Radio Specialists
    TEL (xxxxx) xxx-xxx
    MOBILE NO xxxxx xxx xxx
CODE IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS SET
    Between blablablabla
Quote ref: PRTB12213221C*YOU WILL BE CHARGED
Would you be able to tell me where the serial no. is supposed to be located Sam? My casing has nothing on it (From what I can see) apart from that number and the two stickers.

In the meantime, I will try what Reg has posted. Thanks once again,

    -Tobias

    As it says
    Re-coded by
    Premier Re-codes

so the code is no longer original and cannot be calculated using the Serial Number.

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
    C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
    (Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

Ah, it was a stretch but I figured there wouldn't be any harm in asking. I just hope they're cheaper than Furrows ^^

    Thank you RegWorts :)
