Thank you! Right I'm emailing him now. He thinks the v bit it my serial no. Anyway - he offered the types I said £2.95 one and asked him what I do now. Waiting for reply.

How do I pay?? And what details do I give? Sorry for questions. Would love to sort this.

The one I paid for on ebay earlier this evening came through and worked a treat. Not quite as cheap as £2.75, but still a bargain at £3.39. Unfortuneatly I can not post a link the sellers name is code2907.

Sorry....will only be available from the Main V W Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Unfortunately the Clarion PU-2471 is a VIN coded radio and this is a job for the Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service
